I called this number back and got a busy signal indicating telemarketers using fake caller id.

Same as others. Did not call back.

Shows as Utah Army Nation on caller ID. No message left.

Did not answer

Caller id said Utah National Guard. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

Received a call from this number 801-878-5583, I did not answer.  When I tried to call back it rings busy.  It's pretty irritating considering I am on the Do Not Call List

October 17, 2014 at 9:27 AM -- Caller ID said 'Utah Army Nation.' They left no message and there was a busy signal (repeatedly) when I called back to verbally kick someone's a$$.

I suspect this is a call aimed at determining if its recipient is at home. I'm in Westchester County, NY. Given that your calls occurred within minutes of mine Pam and Ginny, where (approximately) are you located? If you're not too far away, greater weight will be added to the hypothesis that these morons are trying to find people away from their homes.

I just got a call also but it just came up at Utah..

this call came up midvale, utah on my phone.  it was supposedly about extending my credit card balance.  i dont own a credit card!  i waited for the automated part to finish and a foreign man answered.  i told him to not call my phone again and he hung up on me. i am on the do not call list, as well!

dead air after answering

Got the same call with dead air for the 4th day in a row. I'm tired of paying the cable company for advertising and the phone company, FCC, NSA and Dept of Justice for allowing this type of harassment. "We pay them to spy on us?"

Just got a call from this number.  Shows up as 'UTAH' on my phone.  Mentioned lowering my credit card interest rate.  I don't own a credit card and I am on the Federal Do Not Call List so I was curious and pressed '1' to speak to an operator.  He said he was showing I owed more than $4,000 on my Visa and asked me to verify.  Took three times repeating because he had a very thick middle eastern accent.  When I told him I don't own a Visa and asked how he got my phone number (which I protect), he hung up on me.  I suspect they bought the phone number and are calling from offshore and that is how they are getting around the do not call law.  I used to work with a data company and there is a real problem with these scammers buying disconnected phone numbers and using them for these types of calls.  When we report them and shut them down, a new one pops up because they are buying thousands a day.

Just called my mother's cell phone. She's on the "Do Not Call" list as well. She let it go to voicemail, as she didn't recognize the number. No message, no call back number.
