Received a call from 801-878-8943 in Midvale, Utah at 7:42 p.m. CST on Nov. 17, 2009.  I do not pick up the phone if I do not recognize the caller ID info.  Did not leave a message on answering machine either.  Hung up the minute it started hearing the answering machine.  I have a feeling this number probably ties into the "Make Money from Google" scam that is going around.  It has nothing to do with Google.  From what I understand and noticing the comments, you get a lot of different web sites set up for one, and lots of charges on a credit card they somehow got ahold of or maybe one falls for a psishing scam.  But I am tired of these weird calls coming in at all times of the day and night.  I have an elderly parent that lives with me and it is very disruptive for her to be woke up by the phone.  If I had the extra $25.00 for a disconnect I would get a non-pub phone number but of course that would run up my phone bill another $7 or $8 a month also.  Is there anyway we can put a halt to all of these unwelcome unsolicited phone calls.  I am on the government do not call registry and this should halt these calls but actually does nothing to prevent them either.  We need a fast solution to this.  Can anyone help.

I keep getting phone calls from 920-233-8812.  This has been going on since last January 2009.  the latest one was last Monday, Nov. 9.  At first the phone calls just stated I needed to call immediately regarding my debt or my unpaid bills.  I don't have any unpaid bills or debt.  Then finally they asked for Michelle same last name as mine.  It might be the fact that my phone number is listed as M. last name.  So they just assumed I was this Michelle, but doubt it.  Have this sick feeling someone is using my address and phone number to get out of paying bills, as I have found out that someone is using my soc. sec. number and date of birth, but so far can do nothing about it unless used for work purposes, nope just arrests and fraud and medical.  But this time they left a call-back number of 920-233-3098 and I have traced it to an unpublished number in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.  Who are these people.  And how do they get the wrong people's phone numbers.  And who gives them the right to harrass people on the phone unless they know 100 percent they have the correct person.  I am usually not home when these calls come in but they always leave an answering machine message and the last one was threatening.  Is there anything that can be done to prevent this and to stop these kinds of calls.  I did not know it was legal for collection agencies/bill collectors or whoever these people are to harrass people when they have the correct person.  I can't afford to disconnect my phone and re-connect with non-pub number as I lost my employment one year ago and have not found any employment.  Can't afford anything extra.  But I am so tired of these calls, I almost rip the phone out of the wall some days.  What can we do to stop this harrassment.  Every time the phone rings I just jump as I am sure it is another one of these calls.  Why can't we get it stopped being on the Do Not Call REgistry is worthless I guess.

number calls day and night non stop I just want to end the calls

Got a call from this number on my home phone and when I didnt ans that they called my cell number. I am FURIOUS.  My cell is totally OFF LIMITS. I called the number back and it goes to a success  consulting team.  Both of my phone's are on the national do not call list. HOW do they keep doing this?

I just had a call from the same number: 801-878-8943. It was the people from apply knowledge institute. I am, right now looking into their company to decide if I should invest. Its a good thing that I did. Apparently they are scamming people and have changed the name of their company to deceive them. They changed their name from six figure. You will find both of these companies on the BBB website. I encourage anyone who knows of this to complain so they can stop scamming people out of their money.
