This is one of the numbers/callers who show up as "Political Call" when I check the screen.

This time I answered, and it's most likely just a recording playing asking if you're who they're calling. It ends the call after three or four times. All I answered as "This is her" in increasingly annoyed tones so hopefully it ain't recording my voice to use elsewhere ;;

Unfortunately for my area tho, it's a partial deadzone. This means someone who calls us here might not hear us replying and we have to recall for it to connect properly. That's why I can't say for sure it's an automated message - there's no guarantee my signal was being received. But... yeah, chances are it's a robocall lol

Just a call from the Sanders presidential campaign.

Bernie Sanders campaign call asking for donations.  My phone shows it as being a potential spam caller.  Made a donation online, told her I would not give out my credit card info over the phone.

I received a call from this number today asking for a $1000 donation to Bernie 2020.
When I informed the individual that I was already maxed on my contributions they proceeded to tell me the donation could be but toward the General Election fund. They were rather pushy even after I questioned their legitimacy with the campaign as they were seemingly unaware of my maximum donation status. I have already had contributions that I have made on accident that were over my $2800 limit returned by the campaign, but those donations were made directly via mail to the campaign office headquarters (address found at www.berniesanders.com), directly at Bernie events, or through ActBlue which can also be accessed directly through www.berniesanders.com
I have made plenty of calls for the campaign and the handling of the call (aggressive solicitation of donations) is not how us Bernie Sanders volunteers are trained to make calls.
Be warned! Hopefully you read this before giving a cent or your information to such a scam operation!

I saw this number in my call history. There is a discussion on the Sanders for President Reddit re. this number. There was no resolution there as to whether this specific phone number is legitimate, but (it was pointed out) if you want to donate, you can always use the campaign website. The contribution limit (currently $2800) is per election -- the primary and general are separate elections.  I couldn't find rules about advance contributions for the general election, but if a candidate doesn't win the primary. those contributions would likely have to be returned.

Call from Bernie Sanders campaign? Not likely. Scam.

My telephone system automatically channels calls to my answering machine on second ring. If no message is left, caller's number is blocked. Scammers rarely leave a message so they get blocked. This caller left no message, which tells me it was a scammer.

No message left. Last election I got a lot of annoying calls from scammers pretending to be on behalf of the Dems. GOP trick going back decades to irritate voters. Despite fines and jail sentences they do it again the next election. I'll just give directly as always. Don't fall for agitators and scammers. Dems don's waste energy doing this bs.
