claimed to be from amazon billing dept, however it is not. This is purely a scam to get someone dim enough to give out their personal info.

I must've missed the call, but they left this awful message:

"On. You have been charged $529 for the order number 7073. If you have made this purchase kindly confirm the transaction and simply hang up the call. If you have not made any such transaction kindly call us back on 802-552-3357. Thank you, and have a wonderful day."

Also (same original recipient here), i called the number and all it said was "this number cannot be reached"
I did send a text denying all authorization for said purchase.  I pray it works

I received a message indicating there was suspicious activity on my account and a charge for $1,499 was made and to call back IMMEDIATELY if I had not authorized the purchase.  Where it was not coming from a toll-free number, I knew it was a total scam.

Texted at 3 am saying “Hey girly! How are you? I found your number in my phone and I wanted to check in.” Since I’ve deleted numbers over the years I responded with “Hi! Who is this?” Hours later, I get “Welcome and thank you for subscribing to INFORMATION PIRACY INC! Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.” Responses with STOP and immediately got “To stop texts from 18025291597 reply STOP to confirm.” I again said STOP and have received nothing. So strange.
