- always using my SIT tones replies to ProfessorJust Google SIT tones and you'll find many places to download from, such as this:
http://home.comcast.net/~mcbrides9/sit.html - John-of-Lower-Merion(802) 727-4633 Robo call recorded 24 October 2014 ("Protect against falls or sudden cardiac arrest...at the press of a buh-uhn...free medical alert alarm..." SCAM)
Caller ID: "V1024190748000" (derived from date and time so no two receivers see the same Caller ID)
Also called recently from: (240) 397-5331 | (586) 231-3657 | (321) 332-6561
Not sure where they found this low class voice over (love the way she can't pronounce 'button'), but a feeble attempt to use scare tactics ("...accident, fall or sudden cardiac arrest...") to push their "free" medical alert system..
Of course they ignore the Federal Do Not Call list, which certainly tells us something about their business ethics, doesn't it?
Here is a transcript of this "free Medical alert" offer:
[female voice:] "...in case of a slip and fall accident or sudden cardiac arrest you may not be able to reach your phone to call for help. Don't be another victim lying helplessly on the floor. Get a free medical alert system and help can be reached with a single press of the buh-uhn twenty four hours a day. For your health, safety and peace of mind get your free medical alert system if you act now by pressing 1. Press 5 to be removed but to be protected twenty four hours per day, seven days per week, press 1 now. [7 second pause] "Good bye.".
[At least they didn't say "...laying on the floor..." Gotta give them credit for this, lol.]

- IrkedHere's today's list of spammers: 802-727-4633 called @1:55PM PDT with message as noted above for Med Benefit.
760-281-0185 called @12:32 PM PDT 10/28/2014. No message left on answering machine. This was 2 hours after a call (10:31AM) from 858-703-4489 which also did not leave a message. Every day there are mysterious callers who do not leave messages except those from Consumer Services (Credit Card scammer) and Med-Alert/Benefit (scamming seniors about monitoring and alerting system). I'm beginning to suspect this is one hugh ring of scammers, perhaps organized, who call from various numbers scattered throughout the US. Just another number to add to the block list, which unfortunately is reaching its limit! Complaints to the Do Not Call Registry (FCC) have been acknowledged but no action has been taken by it.- Caller: Med Benefit

- tina8525Damn it, neither my husband nor I are even senior citizens yet and even if we were, don't call us, we'll call you, okay, if we are interested. I am sure it's some kind of scam, though. We get lots of scam calls and many are related to medical alert systems. We also get the other robo-call that starts out by saying, "This is a community alert. Due the recent increase of falls among seniors...," and then it goes on to say that our doctor has approved this product for us or some such nonsense. I add the numbers to my call rejection service on a regular basis but more come along to take their place. I never answer, though. I think that would result in even more robo-calls.

- Fred/Elmhurst ILThese morons have been calling me 2 to 3 time a day for several weeks now. Some sort of Med-Alert scam. I wish to God the do not call list was more effective.

- Joe SmithWhen I read the complaints I sometimes wonder how these people tie their own shoes. You know that the Do Not Call register is just another waste of taxpayer money so why bother. Get smart....if you dont know the number dont answer. If its importance they will leave a voice message for you.
