Not sure where they found this low class voice over (love the way she can't pronounce 'button'), but a feeble attempt to use scare tactics ("...accident, fall or sudden cardiac arrest...") to push their "free" medical alert system..

Of course they ignore the Federal Do Not Call list, which certainly tells us something about their business ethics, doesn't it?

Here is a transcript of this "free Medical alert" offer:

Get a free medical alert system and help can be reached with a single press of the buh-uhn twenty four hours a day. [At least they didn't say "...laying on the floor..." Gotta give them credit for this, lol.]

1st Rule: Never answer these calls.

2nd Rule: Never, never, never ever press some number to be removed.

If you can't follow these simple rules, DO NOT COMPLAIN about all the calls.

AARP is one of the companies that sells your info to just about anyone.  If you dig a little bit into AARP's business practices, you'll want to end your membership ASAP!!!!!

Here's today's list of spammers: 802-727-4633 called @1:55PM PDT with message as noted above for Med Benefit.
760-281-0185 called @12:32 PM PDT 10/28/2014. No message left on answering machine. This was 2 hours after a call (10:31AM) from 858-703-4489 which also did not leave a message. Every day there are mysterious callers who do not leave messages except those from Consumer Services (Credit Card scammer) and Med-Alert/Benefit (scamming seniors about monitoring and alerting system). I'm beginning to suspect this is one hugh ring of scammers, perhaps organized, who call from various numbers scattered throughout the US. Just another number to add to the block list, which unfortunately is reaching its limit! Complaints to the Do Not Call Registry (FCC) have been acknowledged but no action has been taken by it.

Damn it, neither my husband nor I are even senior citizens yet and even if we were, don't call us, we'll call you, okay, if we are interested.  I am sure it's some kind of scam, though.  We get lots of scam calls and many are related to medical alert systems.  We also get the other robo-call that starts out by saying, "This is a community alert.  Due the recent increase of falls among seniors...," and then it goes on to say that our doctor has approved this product for us or some such nonsense.  I add the numbers to my call rejection service on a regular basis but more come along to take their place.  I never answer, though.  I think that would result in even more robo-calls.

Medical Alert Scam. Obviously never heard of 'do not call'.

I received two calls today a few minutes apart. Same number, but the first caller ID was Thetford VT and the second was Med Benefits.

These morons have been calling me 2 to 3 time a day for several weeks now. Some sort of Med-Alert scam. I wish to God the do not call list was more effective.

Got call a few times, no massage left.

When I read the complaints I sometimes wonder how these people tie their own shoes. You know that the Do Not Call register is just another waste of taxpayer money so why bother. Get smart....if you dont know the number dont answer. If its importance they will leave a voice message for you.

Have called 2 times a day for the last two weeks.  They leave a robo message.  MED BENEFIT.  Trying to sell, "Help I've fallen" gizmos.  I almost fall running to the phone to get their sales message!

They call twice a day for 3-4 weeks now. I'm not going to pick up....
I'm turning off my ringers till they go away!
I have fallen and I did get up....now stop calling!
