We believe this to be a fraudulant scam, trying to get information from businesses.

Tried to get our business to write him a large cashier's check to "help" him pay for his event.
This number is a scam.

Indicated wanted an event held here, wanted to pay by cc but also wanted to use cc to pay for touring bus and we would send a cashier check to pay for the bus.

Booked an event for which we made 2000 worth of prime rib for, postponed that very day twice, gave us a few different cc numbers for down payment and some actually went through.  now harassing every morning

Definitely a scam.  I have seen these before. Same scenario.

Henry Rowe contacted my business to use our services to cater his "wife's birthday party". He asked all of the typical questions, chose a date and was given a catering menu. After selecting what menu option he wanted, he then asked for a favor. When asked to call he just asks another question, then gives excuses on why he can't call to give the deposit information. His favor has been that after he uses his cc to give his deposit can he pay more from that cc and the difference be given to a party bus vendor when they arrive. This is his 2nd time contacting my business.

Called for catering for his wife's birthday party. My spidy senses were tingling so I did a quick google search on his name and phone number and found this report forum. Treating this as a scam.

If that is the number that called you, then why are you posting here?  Does the area code 909 look exactly like the area code at the top of this thread which is 802?  You are in business and can't discern the difference between simple phone numbers?
