stop calling me - calls weekly

I did the same thing. I waited and pressed 1 and a guy answered I was nice and was like how did you get my number and he started screaming and said "YOu called me" with a few extra words which I will not repeat and hung up.

ri recieved called from this number  coz keep calling so i answered is a woman who answered i asked what company she calling from she just hung up the phone immediately .........so i'm thinking this is a scammed caller..........

she called and I didnt answer but I had no idea what the number was, so I looked it up, and I found this. The strange part was, it was one of the first calls I recived.

answered this call. wanted to reduce my interest rates. i don't even have a credit card. ask them not to call again. hung up.  started calling on the house phone.

Someone keeps calling us from this number and leaving messages in Spanish.  Since no one here speaks Spanish, it is impossible to figure out who is calling or why.  We figure that it is some sort of telemarketing scheme.

I got a call from this number.  Answered and they said something about lowering my credit card's interest rate.  Funny since I have no credit cards.  I didn't bother pressing one.  I just hung up.

I've been getting calls like this from different numbers lately.  Don't know what's going on, but next time I'm thinking about pressing one and 'serenading' whoever answers.  Eventually they will get tired of my singing!

I have recieved calls like this from several numbers with the same "Lower your intrest rates" recording.  One time I pressed one and got a live person.  After playing along I asked them what they were wearing.  They said something about a skimpy outfit so I told them I wasn't wearing anything and I was so glad they called! They hung up!  Two can play games.

These people call very often.  No information can be obtained from them.  They harass me constantly, wanting to lower my credit card debt.  I have no credit card debt.  No one should have to put up with idiots lIke this. They also call on my cell.  It is most definitely a scam.  Getting ready to file a complaint/w my Attorney General as I am on the NCL.  Believe it or not, they have caught many people.  I can't believe they have nothing better to do than to harass a lady/w artificial knees and an artificial hip.  Keep writing those complaints.

Get calls constantly saying they can lower my interest rates on my credit cards, awfully funny seeing how I have no credit cards. Stop calling my number. I am on the DNC list also, doesn't seem to matter to these people. Real tired of these calls.

Have been getting daily calls from "Rachel" for months now. They always hang up when confronted. Why isn't FTC doing anything to shut them down?

Received a call from this number last night (7/21/14) at 6:01pm, then again today (7/22/14) at 11:30am. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. I recognized that it was a Columbia, SC area code because I live in South Carolina, about two hours drive from Columbia. It's been nearly two years since anyone has reported on this number on this forum, so I don't know if it is the same company still using this number or not.

Could be a debt collector, but reputable third-party debt collectors will usually leave a message and a way for you to get back in touch with them.

That leaves telemarketer. After reading some of the posts, I think it is a little curious that only yesterday afternoon around 4:00 pm I signed up for an account with 'creditkarma.com' to get a look at my credit score. I received the first call from this number about two hours later.

Coincidence? Maybe not ...
