- PAUL replies to triciaDo you honestly think I will be on this site doing something that stupid, I received a call like you did, so I placed the number in search and this site came out, I read the post, investigated and finally got the telecom company which is responsible for this number.
How did you find this site? I am sure the same way I did or else who would ever know about this site. - GaryJust received another call from this number wanting to know if I'd like to lower the interest rate on my charge card..........I was born at night...but not last night.

- PAUL| 1 replyI am sure if we all call KMC Telecom and let them know that we know what's up they will stop, I am telling them which I actually did. That I am reporting to the Federal Trade Commission. This is a business for everyone one involved the telecom companies etc. We call back waste minutes, long distance and they benefit.
Go look for yourselves KMC Telecom and try to find the contact info on their site. It is complicated. They like Bell South which sold them the lines work behind the scenes. Now they are IP capable as well.- Caller: KMC TELECOM

- Joe DenverI have gotten MANY calls from this number. I press one and wait till I get someone. I let them go through their speech. I asked to confirm the name of the company and he said Account Services out of Atlanta GA. And that is the name you will see on your bill. You have to have over 4K in debt. I have one credit card with nothing on it. I told them that they must already know how much debt I have because I got this call telling me it was my last warning. I told him some very choice words and he hung up on me.
I will have to pull out some terminology that I had when I was in the Army next time.- Caller: SCAM

- Ginger| 1 replyGot a call on my cell, and after waiting through the "load of crap" recording about lowering my credit cards interest rate (I don't own a credit card) it said hit "1" for more information - I did - the girl on the other end picked up and I asked how they got my number and what's your comapny name and she hung up on me!! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! Does anyone really fall for this???
- Caller: They refused to give it!
- KelleyI got an Email today from the HR department at the enormous company I work for. They warned us about scammers calling our work extensions and having automated messages asking us to press"1" for information. Apparently in pressing "1" you are authorizing them to pull personal information. I got a recorded message from this number 803-307-7391 (showed up as "cell phone" on my caller ID). I asnwered and got the recording "Hi, this is Rachel calling from your bank. I immediately thought my bank would never say "Your bank" so I hung up before pressing anything. This morning at work, I got a voicemail, 1/2 cut off, saying that my Mastercard was locked for security purposes and to unlock, press "1". I deleted the voicemail, called my CC company and they said they knew nothing about it. I thought nothing more about it until the Email came our from HR later in the day saying that these people are relentless and running a scam. If you live in MA, look up Martha Coakley's office and report the number. They are investigating.

- WyodadGot this call today (9/20) but wasn't able to answer. Glad I didn't. I have no idea how they got my number. If they call back, I'm totally giving him the needy/grieving/somewhat dysfunctional conversation treatment. They hang up every time.
- WyodadWhy am I getting the feeling that "PAUL" who types in ALL CAPS is not quite as helpful as he is pretending to be?
Call me skeptical. - MB replies to Nancy| 1 replyI agree. I just received a call -- didn't answer it. This just bothers me that these calls continue to occur and is an obvious scam. Why can't these folks be dealt with?
