This one asked for someone else and said that she was listed as our neighbor and was trying to get a hold of her!!!

This number called our home and asked for a person with a foreign sounding name.  My wife explained that they had the wrong number and the person was very cynical with her.  I called the number later today, and I told the person what happened, and I also asked what organization they were with, and they said, "I can't tell you that, but I will take your number off our list."

A friend contacted me saying a Donny Stousser from this number was looking for my brother?  They do not even know each other.  How the hell did they make that connection?  Legitimate people know how to find the person they are looking for.  Casting a wide net sounds like a scam or some second round collection agency that has bought a bucket of old illegitimate debtor accounts; they often lack any valid contact information.  They can keep what ever money they collect.  Also known as "fruad". This is common practice in the US.  It should be against the law!

Quite annoying that they cant tell me why they're calling me... I did inform them if they called me again, I would report them to the State Attorney General since I'm actually on a DO NOT CALL LIST

This no. is a fraud.  Just hang up and report.

He said they were trying to track down my ex husband regarding a personal matter.
He had some of our family names.  
He said his name was Donny Stouffer, and the name of their company was Williams and Fudge, Inc..
He had my ex husband's address, and an old phone number.  
He said he was not doing any solicitation or sales.
When my ex-husband asked the SSN of the person he was looking for by that name the man gave a wrong SSN.

I called the number back and of course it went straight voice mail for this Donny Stousser.  I was then given the option to contact another rep.  Then if course I get yet another voice mail and they want me to leave my name, address, phone,and SS number.  The message I left was that since they had called me, then they had all of that info and to phone me back with their info.  HaHa like that is going to happen.  Oh and I could contact them vias their website at "WWW.WF.com"  BTW that is Wells Fargo site.  I rent so its not about a mortage and unless they call me with info, then Donny Stousser can rot.

This was a collection agency from South Carolina. Rep wasn't rude and did let me know the company on behalf that he is collecting on. I blocked the number from all eligible phone lines.

I keep getting calls from this number, they never leave a msg...just clicking laughing an then hang up. When I called back the male answered as Donny Stouffer. 9.10.15

They called me from a number in Visalia Ca? The number they called me on was ‭(559) 205-9347‬. They left a voicemail saying exactly this “This is Sherry Pender please call me at 803-326-2953 this is not a solicitation…” she had a southern accent. No idea who this could be!
