I just recived a txt message from 2298949999@verizion.com with the message saying "c o u n t I s s u e w/y our E P P i c a r d. C o n t a c t:803-727-1965"

I did too and I have Tmobile.....from: 2298949999@verizion.com with the message saying "c o u n t I s s u e w/y our E P P i c a r d. C o n t a c t:803-727-1965".

Received a text message today from infosms229271@eppicsa.com stating "EppICard suspended. Contact 803-727-1965.  I don't have such a card.

Just got the same text message from 2296300000@sprintpcs.com
"
Looks like there are odd spaces in between each letter so message reads
"A c c o u n t i s s u e w/y o u r E pp ic ar d. C o n t a c t: 8  0 3 7 2 7 1 9 6 5"

Called the number back on another phone (blocking the # first) and it went to an automated message stating that my debit card had been suspended due to an issue with _______(couldn"t understand what they said) and if I wanted to validate it to please press one.  Once I did, it asked for my 16-digit card number.  Smells like a fishing expedition for card numbers to me.

I just got the same call on my verizon phone  from:  229376@myvzw.com  Account issue with you eppicard.  Contact: 8037271965.  I figured this was a scam when I searched the web to see what an eppicard is since I don't own one.  I agree with Sara, it is a fishing expedition.

yes....whomever is doing this text is scamming. I actually have an eppicard. It's through the gov't so u know they are just trying to trick someone. People try to get money from anywhere. How you gonna steal child support money? smh

No such card... Pretty sure it is a scam.

7 2 7 1 9 6 5.   If anyone can tell me what this is I wouldn't appreciate it.   Since Im with tmobile I didn't know what was happening.    Went straight to voicemail when call back.

It's a phishing scam.....

Eppicard is a visa debit card that mississippi has the child support payments going to, but they never sends text message or call you,,I have not used this card in years,,I got the same text, but I know it is a scam that someone has come up with!

Same message.  I'm T-Mobile and had no idea why Verzion would contact me and had never heard of a "Eppicard".  I agree with Greg, it's a phishing scam.
