Left a computer generated voicemail...something to do with a court case, and if I didn't return call, I would suffer the consequences.

told me that it was the IRS and that if I didn't call this number back that they would send someone after me..

Received call from IRS threatening me with court action.  What a crock

Said there was a court case pending against me from the IRS for felony tax evasion.  I said I thought it was a scam.  He then gave me an officer ID badge #...and wanted me to call back at that same # if I wanted to file a complaint...Heavy accents and LOTS of background noise

I got this message too- gonna suffer the consequences if I don't return the phone call. Didn't take the call, but a voicemail message was left and you could tell it was computer generated.

My roommate is on the phone now with this number. They are extremely rude. Telling her to hold her horses. Saying in the next hour she will be arrested.  The phone number is under my name not hers.... Please help

It's nothing but nonsense Krista. Don't give them any information. I'll bet they didn't even know her name when she called. Don't give them a credit card number!

Claims to be IRS. Not sure if it's pathetically sad or just laughable. I hope nobody falls for this crap.

My mom got the call. She thought it was real. I called back on 3 way with her. Hard accents! I gave them fake information! They found (fake) ME in their computer. It appears that *I* owe $7500, but they will help!

Received this call. Gentleman who I spoke to was very rude and pushey.

The IRS does not call tax payers, notices are sent out by Certified Mail, which has to be signed at the local post office to get mail. if IRS needs to contact a person.  Call your state Attorney General Office for information regarding your state.  Call the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, D.C.  toll free telephone number is 1-877-382-4357. The Federal Trade Commission will give you a reference number to report to them the scam calls we all receive regularly.  I made a call to my telephone company & gave me a call rejection feature to my telephone.  The
things I have given have eliminated these scam calls for me.  Please follow my procedure and give rid of the scammers!!!!

Called it back from a phone bank number...Nigerian sounding guy on the other end. Soooo funny.
