If this were something official & serious, the "Beneficial Bank" wouldn't be reaching out by text message! No way I'm calling.

Got the same message.  I don't have an account with them, so why would they be texting me.  Definitely a scam.

just received same text, same number (5:08 pm EDT); no account with them!

Got a text telling me to call beneficial bank immediately. I don't even have an account.

got a text from 6105722 with the same message as the others.  when I texted back, Verizon said it was a landline and for $0.25 I could do a text to voice message.  I then called the number (with areacode the return text gave (610)) and got a call could not be connected as dialed.

I reported the texting number also.

Got the same text. Never had an account with Beneficial. Looked it up online to see what it was. It's a scam just like l suspected.

This is definitely a scam.  I called Verizon n had them put my number on the national do not call list.   And had that number blocked.  We got 3 of those texts.  Enough was enough.  I will be calling beneficial bank in the am.  It's being generated from a computer line so I would strongly suggest NOT calling it back.

Clearly a fraud.  These people should be dragged behind horses into the town square and strung up, then drawn in quarters by four raging horses.  The entrails should then be fed to the wolves.

got the same txt about an account with beneficial.  i suggest calling this number over and over and over again. hopefully this pos will die.
