- JakeSame as the comments you read above. Called me and said he was such and such from Receivable Solutions and had mailed me multiple times; then asked to verify my address or DOB. I asked what it was in reference to. He said it was a confidential matter. I told him since it wasnt an 800 number, and he didnt have the standard "This is an attempt to collect a debt" typical BS from debt collectors you usually receive at the beginning of one of those phone calls, I wasnt going to give him any info. He sounded offended and said "Well we are in Richmond, so that's our number. Do you want me to put down refusal to comply?" As soon as the words "Yes" came out, he hung up before I finished saying "unless you want to tell me what this is about." Obvious scam, read the comments.
