Answered call...but no response from caller. After brief 5sec pause...caller hung up. ???

Yep, got the same thing. It called twice, no message the first time, and I answered 2nd time and heard a lot of "call center" type noise and then click-up

Received two calls from this number this afternoon--did not answer the calls & caller left no messages.

CID just said 'PETERSBURG.'  I blocked my number and called it back; a recording said it was ''one of the premier research companies in America.''

Caller ID Petersburg. Didn't answer.

Called at 7:34pm. Didn't answer. Left no message.

Called at 6:56 PM tonight.  Didn't answer, no message left.  Now blocked.

This is a telemarketing scam out of Petewrsburg, VA. It is a magazine subscription scam, related to Publishers Clearing House operations. If you answer, they want your name, address, and magazines currently receiving. Then in a week or less, you receive a call that a magazine subscription is about to expire. SCAM!!!!

Have called 3 times in last 3 days but I blocked after first call with no message left.  No second chances here.

Turns out this telemarketer is in Virginia Beach City, Virginia, and ported the number (plus others) to Petrsburg and Disputania, Virginia. Connected numbers are #804-255-9128 and #804-251-4702. They are ALL scams! Do not answer them; do not give out ANY of your information. SCAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Called to ask “confidential questions” regarding state elections.

No one said a word and then the call dropped.

Asked about political questions.then nothing heard.

Called asking me to participate in a survey about “statewide issues”. He asked what race/ethnicity I was and when I declined to say, he ended the survey before asking any actual questions about “statewide issues” 🧐

I missed the call. When I called back a voice message answered saying they were Venture Research and they called to conduct either a customer satisfaction survey, market research survey, or political survey. You won't miss anything important by blocking this number.
