Officer Franklin from the IRS calling to say I'm going to jail for tax fraud unless I pay them money today. What a joke.

This is the second of these calls I received today. This person had foreign accent -- Sounded Middle eastern. Said he was from IRS and that I better call back immediately before they come to my door and arrest me.  It is clearly a scam.

This person called me at school and has called me once again a few minutes ago. I do not answer but they do not stop. I got two different voicemails. One of them sounded like it was from hell itself, just the fast speed talking in the background for 36 seconds. I just got another voicemails that was so... Amatuer. It was “goodbye.” In a low quality recorded feminine voice. REALLY?

Just happened to me too— but I did not answer.

I received two of these calls today

Happened this evening threatening to take me and my wife to jail and kids to Social Services.

received a call from some foreigner today with middle eastern accent stating a claim was being filed against "this name", and to call before I get arrested.  GO HOME

Just had a call from this number, did not respond. Had a message in a businesslike tone to call back. Blocked caller from further calls

Just recieved a call as described above.  Clearly a scam.  Foreign accent as well.

Well this was my first call from the scammer with middle eastern accent about back IRS
payments. I have heard about this call so often. My answering machine had picked it up.
If they want to pull this scam, at least the called should speak better English.😈

Officer "James Patterson" called.  Middle eastern accent about a legal notice against my husbands name (but he called on MY cell phone, tipoff #1).  "Please do not ignore this message"

Just got a call--the only message left was the phone number.  Looked it up online and found this site.  This is the second time I have received a call from the "IRS."

Scammer called again. Did not answer again. 2nd time today. What a joke.

The same call as everyone else has reported. Is there anyone we can report this to?

I got a second call today too.

Call from man with foreign accent saying we would be arrested if didn't call back and pay money. Got same call a few weeks ago. I called and told them I was reporting them and THEY would be arrested. I did report through IRS site. Last time it was real IRS number that came up on caller ID, but gave different number to call. Don't be fooled! The IRS never calls you.

Also just received this message - thanks to all of you that posted I won't worry! What a scam.

On 1/21/15, I received 3 calls in a row, two from a Middle Eastern/Indian Man, saying he was from the IRS and that the IRS had filed a Tax Lawsuit against me.  I hung up the first time.  The second time, a Woman called saying the same thing, I hung up again.  The Third time from the Middle Eastern Man again, saying the same thing.  I said why would the IRS be suing me, I pay my Taxes, and why had I not been served with any papers, a certified letter, etc., and he said it was returned to them, but he did have my correct home address, Scary, and this time I said, this is a Scam, give me your info. so I can report you to the IRS and FCC, and he hung up on me this time.  I got this same type of calls and voicemail messages last year at Income Tax time.
