Another bogus cold call from someone claiming to be with the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency), claimed to be Agent Martinez. I have received these bogus calls before and called him on it immediately. When I attempted to engage him by speaking in Spanish, he was confused, clearly was not Spanish speaking and then fired back, "Are you on weed?" I had a few choice words and hung up on him, but not before I told him to stop bothering people with his lies and unwanted phone calls. He called back 3 more times immediately after but I just lifted the receiver and hung up quickly.

The real DEA does not contact people this way - a total scam. The bogus callers read from a script that somehow, your name was linked to some suspicious dealings and the DEA is now aware of you, but the agent is "generous" enough to cut you a deal, namely to send him money, by wire, to the Dominican Republic or elsewhere. The bogus phone number that shows up on caller ID in my case is one of many that they have used. Just know that the real DEA does not operate this way.

I got through and it answered Well Fargo Bank and said:  "Please enter you 16 digit account number"   I don't bank with the stage coach but I bet they got a lot of credit card numbers...

My wife, son and I all got same message from 8048591904 that our wells Fargo account has been deactivated. Definite scam / phishing since we have never had an account with that bank. Do not respond.
