called on 2-14-12 and said Mr "****" This is (undecipherable)  from "my town's" wal-mart.
I hung up as their is no wal-mart in my town. Scam of some sort?

I received a call from a Pastor Goodwin from VSP at this phone number saying I won a contest and I will get $5000.00. He called again the next morning saying he wanted to come to my house and give me a check. Before he was to come I received another call saying they were from UPS shipping company and they had a package for me and they needed my home address. I asked  for their phone number to call them back and it turns out it was the same phone number from the Pastor Goodwin. If I entered a contest they would have my address. This is a spam and be careful.

Definitely a scam!  The check they send will be fake.

Phone call from 804-859-3817 claiming to be Publishers Clearing House.  "Had to return a check of yours to Bank of America, need another form of payment."  I don't use B of A or PCH.  Definite scam -- sure would like to know how he got my phone number.

Same here.  recieved a call from 804-859-3817 claiming to be Publishers Clearing House regarding a check and referenced a NCIC number.  Not sure how they got my phone #.  I did contact PCH customer service and gave them the number from my caller ID and the bogus name.  PCH claims to take scams involving their name serious so they ask that these types of call be reported.

Citizen called precinct about the PCH scam on an elderly lady. DO NOT GIVE MONEY OR INFORMATION TO THESE PEOPLE.
