CID says SSI (Social Security Income)  - CID name that appears is deceiving. They never leave messages, when you answer they hang up on you.  Today, they call again, we answer and it's a survey call.   DON'T ANSWER THIS CALL.....

SSi or Survey Sampling International is the name of the survey company.  There is no "Social Security Income"  either as a program or an agency.   https://www.surveysampling.com/contact/

There is an opt out on that page but we don't know if it works or if they honor it.  My preference is to send them a certified, return receipt letter.  Of course if you had read the other posts in this short thread you would have learned that already since it is clearly posted in the first couple of posts on the first page of this thread.

The caller, vSSI ( displayed as ID on our phone ), called us @ 14;38,, 05.28.2016 &  4:38 &15:24, 05.29.2016. without area code. I presumed it from my area code.. We were not home.We opted not to answer unwanted call on the spot per 1. Suggestion of www.ftc.gov. (www.donotcall.gov.).2. The actual caller will get pay from employer.
05.292016, 19:45, I tried to returned the call hiding our number,  a  sharp lady message indicated this from SSI survey. I can send  an e-mail to optout @samplingsurvey.com& asked  them to remove our number, We are not receiving SSI from government.

Phony  pretending they are S.S.I.   connected with Social Security

This number has called several times.  If I don't recognize the number I will not answer.  They never leave a message.  They have called twice tonight, August 14, 2016

They called. I didn't answer. They didn't leave message.

Called for my sister (asked for her by first and last name) on my cell phone. Second time this week I've gotten these calls (two different numbers). Sister has never been associated with my number. Ever. Where are they getting our info?!

They have now called me 15 times over several years.

Same old stuff. No answer. No message. Don't want to know who. Just want their thumbs to fall off and eyes to fall out.

No message left. Caller ID said SSI, but the number does not match the local office of SSI.  It was the surveysampling.com (aka National Data Collection Firm). Last time the woman said she was National Collection Data Firm and had a different number and state.
