Called, telemarketer thump heard.  Asked if this was (my name).  I hung up.  Will block number.

Didn't answer, no message! They keep calling!
Never any messages!

Called showed as a wireless caller, asked for my mom, I asked who it was they then said is this ____ I told them no may I take a message then they said that's ok tell her that I love her and that I'll see her tonight. Wtf!?

Called today w/o leaving message

Have blocked the number; it's merely from the scum bags.

I didn't answer and 805-341-0563 didn't leave a message.

Caller ID = Wireless Caller

wireless caller. didn't speak when i answered.

Caller ID said Wireless Caller.  They called about 15 minutes before 3:00. I said hello and there was no response.  I said hello again and heard the call click in like a telemarketer.  They asked for someone that hasn't had my number for at least 5 1/2 years.  I told them, "Wrong number.  Please put this number on your do not call list."  The only response I got to this was a hang up.

This female said something about them being a construction company - and I told her to f-ck off!!!! Caller ID said wireless.

Yet another invasion-of-privacy junk call.  Didn't answer (I NEVER answer calls from unfamiliar numbers).  Blocked this number.

Criminals recently released from state prison now looking to advance their criminal careers by calling you and convincing you to give up your id info.

Called me this afternoon - CallerID said "Wireless Caller"

Answered phone, got telemarketer pause, then "This is Angela from Somethingorother Construction"

"Hi Angela.  Are you licensed contractors?"

"Yes, we are"

"What's your contractors license number?"

"I don't have that information. I'm just the secretary that makes the appointments"

"You're a scammer and a liar.  Goodbye" <click>

Almost all calls from 805 are scams

A call from this Thousand Oaks cell number arrived today.  When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message, only dead silence.  This is typical of robocallers who use automated dialers to place calls.  If a live person answers, the dialer transfers the call to a live telemarketer.  Slick, eh?

That's exactly what happened to poster BillW (see above) who was illegally telemarketed by probably an unlicensed contractor who was cold-calling.  Folks, honest contractors don't need to stoop to such tactics.  As poster Nick (see above) notes, criminals released from state prison are hitting the phone lines in search of their next victims.

DO NOT BECOME A VICTIM.  DO NOT ANSWER CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER.

The cid showed "wireless caller" and phone number 805-341-0563.  Left a brief message asking for the Missus.  Blocked.

Phony baloney.

Caller ID says... "Thousand Oaks, CA
San Luis Obispo, CA.
Dead air silence on call sometimes if answered it's a Robocall with repeated beeps. Hung up.
This number has called more than 5 times in one day. Nobody is on the other end.
