Received call. Didn't answer.  They didn't leave a message.  Caller ID says "Wireless Caller"

Calls at least 3 times per day and when you say hello there is no response

Folks - DO NOT answer unknown phone calls!
If everyone would stop answering these calls, these criminals would be out of business!
They called - I did not answer - no message left - have blocked their number!
It's that simple!
Minutes after this call, I received another call from "southcoast"  714 824-6289 - another criminal call that went unanswered!

Called again today at 10:16am.  Blocked and our phones did not ring - not even once!

BLOCKED FOREVER!!!

"Wireless caller" & no message.  Supposedly from Simi Valley area.  I'm ready to give up my landline!

Didn't answer.  Caller left no message.

I wasn't home to answer the call.  They left no message.  Dialed the number back and got a recording.

If no one answered these unknown calls, these folks would be out of business!

I blocked this number a week ago. They have continued to call, and get blocked, every weekday since.  I guess there is not much of a feedback loop, giving them data that would lead them to stop calling numbers that never get past the first ring.

I told him to not call me anymore and he said that he would have people call me 20 times a day.

Was expecting a call and picked up without looking. They asked for my spouse by name. I told them they had a wrong number and hung up. I know it won't stop the calls, but if they can't talk to anyone maybe, just maybe, they will stop calling.

Called again this morning and were blocked again - our phones did not ring - not even once.

I see that they called a 2nd time at 2:27pm.
Yup - still blocked - forever!

The caller, WIRLESS Caller, called us @  11:08,  A.M., 05.08.2015. We opted not to answer. It has used this number to call many people repeatedly according www.800notes.com above. Today I returned the call hiding my number. I heard this message: " This is xxx mail box, the mail box nt been set up yet."
Caller: WIRLESS CALLER.

The caller's message: " I am sorry, the person has a mail box, not set up yet, good bye."
Caller: WIRLESS CALLER$.

Yup, caller ID "Wireless Caller".  No message left.  Block them.

I have an unlisted telephone number and a few years ago put my phone number on the FCC “Do Not Call” (DNC) list. Soon after this I started getting 5 to 10 calls a day from telemarketers/scammers. I also discovered the FCC is clueless or helpless on how to enforce the list. After doing some research and reading the 800notes comments I discovered why. The telemarketers actually use this same list to call us!!! They realize the FCC will not, or cannot, stop the calls so why not use the list? The head of the FCC in charge of enforcing the list is Thomas Edgar Wheeler. Before his FCC position Mr. Wheeler worked as a lobbyist for the cable and wireless industry. He was appointed by President Obama to run the agency in 2013. Many people at the time expressed concern over Wheeler for the position due to his history of lobbying for industry. So don’t question why you are getting these annoying calls as long as Mr. Wheeler is in charge of enforcing the list. If you are really unhappy with the annoying calls then write to your congressman, senators, news agencies, 60 minutes, etc. and let's get rid of Mr. Wheeler another do nothing, worthless, government employee.
