A call purporting to originate from this number arrived today.  When it rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message.  This is characteristic of robocallers, who use automated dialers to call phone numbers in sequence.  If a live person answers, the automated dialers transfer the call (after a few seconds delay) to a live telemarketer to begin the sales pitch.  It may be legit or (more likely) it may be a scam.  According to www.whitepages.com this number is a VOIP number based in Thousand Oaks.

It calls me around the same time everyday

Made the mistake of answering the first call last week. It was a woman who knew my full name wanting to ask me questions regarding UCSB. Told them I wasn't there then hung up. Been calling me every single day around 6pm. Had to block them. Seriously, DO NOT ANSWER!
