this people keep saying I committed a crime I have did no such thing they got my ss information from off line

Allan Smith, Has threatened me, call my job over 50 times and refuse to stop. They have all of my info. These ppl are frauds and are Natives of other countries. He used profane language towards my manager and all other persons whom answers the phone.  It's very disapointing to know that these people are breaking multiple laws and they are still employed here.

Stacey you and your employer need to file complaints with your local Law Enforcement. The FTC and FBI will take complaints  about these matters as well. If it happens so often you also need to record every call you receive from these a__holes. It is the only recourse available to you. You can also tell them you want to pay them but you will only do so by mail and try to get the address they are using you never know you may get lucky and get it. Then pass that along to the Police as well might give them something to help catch them. But clearly your guy is a scammer and not your fault. It is embarrassing when they involve others but it happens to so many. Keep your head up.

I keep getting these phone calls from this number 805-419-5795. And the guy keeps saying there gonna come to my work place and or home and arrest me. They have my as number they call my work and cell phone I've been to the police and they tell me it's a scam really just want them to stop calling. They call my work when I'm not there and have been told not to call there anymore guess they just don't care

They keep calling saying they are going to arrest me. Please report this.

the call i got was from the same man over a weeks time using 3 different names saying if i didnt load money onto a green dot card by the end of the day, $50.00.....he had a federal warrant to access my social security no. and disability pension and was having the local marshals office arrest me and stop my pension

We are also receiving these calls for my husband claiming unpaid payday loans. These loans have been paid off. Claim they have mailed me the information over a week ago. I have tried to get an address to where to send the money to them, but no luck yet.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

This number 805-419-5795 just called me and said that they had my social and bank info. If I didn't call them back on this number I would be arrested and that I could not run. I was tring to find out what I did? What should I do to protect myself from theses threats?

I've been called from the same number along with plenty more. I called the police and they looked up some of the numbers, the results were a little humorous. These people state they are a legitimate business, they have all your personal information, they claim there's a lawsuit filed against you and threaten you by stating someone will be out to arrest you. Well the officer got back to me, two of the numbers were no longer in service and the others said they would place me on a do not call list. If there were really a lawsuit someone please explain to me why I was placed on a do not call list hmmm I wonder. So the officer told me to document the calls and I need to request proper documentation for this account as proof that there truly is an actual lawsuit. If they cannot provide the documents then you tell them since they can't provide the documents they need to stop calling you or you will file a lawsuit against them. Keep in mind that they use so many different numbers so make sure you keep track o  everything. They're invading our privacy they're taking our personal information and trying to use it in a fraud against us. Another thing if you know it isn't you then don't tell them OK or state that you'll pay them any money because unfortunately it is a legit place of employment, they do record their calls so if they tell you hey I have a lawsuit against you and you say OK well what can I do to pay this, to them you're agreeing with their accusations and then you just made their lies a truth and unfortunately you will then be authorized to pay them

I had a man call me from this number with my name and ss#. saying he was going to place a warrent for my arrest....call my job etc, etc. I filed a complaint with the FTC and put a fraud alert out at the credit bureus, thanks to information above. I never recieved a loan from these people, and when asked for the loan paper work he said NO. Any additional help will be greatly appreciated.

Got a call this morning at work! Dude named Dan Stuart lambed into me with both feet. Said I was in a lawsuit. That I need to call back this number to learn details. He gave me my ss and dl #. That if I didnt it would go to court. And my license would ne suspended.  I asked more than once law suit for what and who did he work for. He kept saying I told you. Trying to intimidate. I hesitated but did call back. Talk to Alex Jones. Extremely american names for very obvious indian people. I finally got the name of the company that I owed money to.  According to him.  He kept pushing to a resolution.  I promptly said I would call the company and resolve it. He said they wouldn't talk to me. I said we'll see. I said that he was not to call me at work and threaten me again. Sounds like he'll call back. I called the company that is SUING me. I owe them nothing. I explained the call. The person I spoke to said I would be suprised how many times that happens.
