Robocaller

Caller ID "Unknown name".  The caller did not go through the prompts to bypass my call screening device.

Caller took awhile to "pick-up", then claimed to be collecting money to support law enforcement officers. Forcefully requested a commitment for a pledge of funds for a mailer that would be sent.

They didn't leave a message but if Rob above is correct and it is The Fraternal Order of Police collecting money, it is a scam.  Local police departments don't get any money from this group.

Called twice each day for the last 3 days. Caller ID shows as Lompoc, CA. Never leaves a message on VM. Have added this number to my call blocker.

805-430-1847 called today, representing himself as working with American Wealth Financial and "your solar company" to maximize your solar rebates and tax incentives. He pushed to schedule a "free" phone consultation with one of their "tax experts" to make sure we receive the maximum cash back on our solar system...except, he didn't know WHO our solar company was; the size of our system; whether we own or lease, etc. The confirmation email he sent had all the right information on it and American Wealth Financial is a member of the Solar Industry Energy Association, except our solar company does NOT work with American Financial Wealth and the number from which he called IS the number associated with the so called law enforcement group referenced here soliciting donations. Something is very fishy...
