Calling non stop after I told them I was not interested. Say they are check city but it is a scam. Stay far away.

Recieved call from these guys....they actually left a message on my ans machine. Never called them
back, as I did not request the call. They could be just a scam.

805-430-5541 is a spoofed number being used by a telemarketing scammer.  The ploy is to ask for somebody that wasn't there to draw them into a conversation.  Since they called my limited-minutes cell line, I told them "wrong number, you have a wrong number" and hung up.  Immediately, I received a call back.  The barely-English-speaking man left a message...  "Mr. xxx, we have approved your loan and all we need now is for you to call us back to get final approval."

Trick is, to get you to call back, even if it is to say "wrong number" they then will have you as "doing business with them" so that they can legally sell your contact information to other telemarketers.  The law states if you call them, that is considered a "business relationship" even if you're on DoNotCall lists.

If you can, take up as much of their time as possible when they call you, that tends to burn these boiler room ripoff artists out faster.  I do that whenever I can, just not on my limited-cell phone plan.

this is to those scams so call business person the world is caching up to your non legal jobs,and you my friend are about to go to jail.
