I received a fake PayPal invoice via e-mail, which contained the above number as a contact.
It was clearly a lame attempt to get you to call this scammer.
Spam message contents was as follows:

Subject: Invoice from PayPal Billing Team:- This charge will be auto-debited from your account.  Please contact us immediately at 1(805) 500-3256 (F230)

Hello, Your payment went through successfully with your checking account. If you did not authorize this charge, please contact us immediately.

Received same today but amount has dropped a few dollars, guess scammer is offering a discount on their scam, getting anxious for some bites. Sent copy of email to phishing dept of paypal, but typing in their email directly and making sure to click on no links in the scam email. Paypal sent auto response thanking for submission and advising to check recent payments and if finding any wrong to submit as a resolution and contact one's bank to also report. Found no such invented scam invoice in my acct, and deleted email as paypal advised.

Yes it's a scam got the same kind of a scam, just delete it I guess
