After telling cap-one the phone # for our chapter 13 attorney, they continue to call from this number and several others.  They are going to get all of their money ... just take a little longer but still they call.  As you say, in this economy they should be glad they will be getting paid.  When you talk to them, they are dishonest about what they can and cannot do. What ever you do, DO NOT let them deduct payments from your bank account. They also took out payments from my friend's account 2 days before the date she had agreed for them to come out.  I recorded silence as a ringtone on my cell.  This is one of the numbers I have linked to it!

Yes, it is Capital One.  Most likely the Auto Finance people.  Very annoying they call every two hours, like clockwork.

Never thought of using a recorded silence for a ring tone.  Thanks for the idea.

NEVER NEVER AGAIN will I have capital one. There has got to be some kind of harrassment suit here. HAS TO BE. I mean I spoke to someone about my payment and we agreed on what the plan was, THIRTY minutes later someone NEW called from a different number. I had to be frank with him before he even spoke. I tol dhim I had already talked to someone that day and to not call my number back. They didn't. It's so STRANGE that they "can't bring up my information before they call me" but once I talk to someone or make a payment they don't call for a few days. I mean this place, as you tell, makes me sick and pissy. I could make a payment and THREE days later the calls start. I mean REALLY what is going to change in 3 days??????? I'm going to win the lottery??? fat chance. I wish I could take my POS vehicle and shove it right up their tail ends and say "HERE'S YOUR PAYMENT".  I might start calling and leaving messages every 10 minutes, not that they would care cause there's 800 million numbers they call from. I think they make them up as they go.  OMG I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE CAPITAL ONE!!!

I've received calls from coast to coast.. not kidding!! Massachusetts to California. I'm in the central time zone. I'll get a call from Calif at 8am, which makes it 6am in Calif. So someone comes to work at 6am to harass us!!  Get a life!!!

Received a call and when I answered there was silence for a full minute after I picked up the phone. I did not say a word either. I created a contact under the name "Block" and blocked it.
