    It was clearly a lame attempt to get you to call this scammer.
    Spam message contents was as follows:

    Subject: Invoice from PayPal Billing Team:- This charge will be auto-debited from your account.  Please contact us immediately at 1(805) 500-6382 (0391)

    Hello, Your payment went through successfully with your checking account. If you did not authorize this charge, please contact us immediately.
