10/7/2022, 5:16 pm.... Received text message on my cell phone warning of a "banking alert, debit card locked" related to my cell number. They give no bank information and as far as I know there is no problem with my bank accounts, so I suspect a scammer.

It said:
Call 8055007634 Now ! 386#) #Debit-Card Locked Alert Account-ID: [and the acct. ID # listed my cell phone #]

There is nothing wrong with my Bank Acct. so this is a Phishing scheme/Scam

1-805-500-7634 sent a false alert debit card locked.  Scammer, beware!
Requested a Call Now.  Nothing wrong with our accounts.

I also received this message.  I live in Arizona.  There is nothing wrong with my bank account or debit/credit cards.  Contact your bank either in person or a number you know is actually your bank's phone number if you are concerned about your accounts.  Do not respond to the number this message provided.  The only way to stop these scammers is to not respond to them and not make it profitable for them.

No bank information and nothing wrong with my account  SCAM

I just got the same message on my iphone from this number.  I checked with my bank and nothing seems to be out of sorts.  Must be a new scam

Scam. And a very stupid one. No info about my actual debit card, just my phone number.  Idiots.

Forward unwanted spam/scam texts to 7726 (SPAM) and let your phone service provider deal with them.
That number was set up by the phone companies to combat spam texts and they can shutdown offending phone numbers.
Never reply with "STOP", scammers will not honor the request (they have no honor to begin with) and it only verifies that they have texted to a valid number and a person who reads their texts.  It will not STOP the texts and may actually make them more frequent.
Never click on a link in such a text as it may cause malware to be inserted on your phone, and even if it does not, just as with replying "STOP" the scammers will know they reached a valid number.

got a text from this number regarding banking issue - no bank info given or fraud division info.  believe this to be bogus as contacted banks and all is fine!

This number is a scanning thief trying to get your information and your money. DELETE the text.

Received text the same text about my ATM card has been locked. Checked my bank, everything is fine.

Obviously another scam. Forwarded text to my Bank's site for logging phishing scams and marked message as "spam" to my cell company which automatically deleted it and blocks the sender.

Scammer called Arizona cell phone this morning.
Message says online transaction attempt. Confirmed scam, do not provide your account info.

Got same message.

I got the same thing 10/10/22 stating a debit card lock (I don't have a debit card)  for sure phishy

Received a text from this number and I know that there is nothing wrong with my accounts.

I recieved the same text message a few minutes ago.  My accounts are good
