They call for various reasons not limited to but including; trying to verbally coerce you into acknowleging you received a summons, trying to verify if you are home or your location, trying to obtain any information that will allow them to put out an FTA (Failure To Appear) warrant for you. block the call.  Additionally remember to always deny receipt of any knowledge of you being required to appear for anything.  VA county DA services are corrupt as the day is long.

My name is Peter Bogoyevac. It's Monday 10/7/13 I rec a call from this number & missed it. I tried calling it back but got a recording that stated is was the county of ventura. No message was left. I have no idea what call is about.

It's a general number from Ventura County. It comes up from Medi-Cal, SNAP, Welfare and all their other programs.

This number started to call me suddenly but does not leave any messages.

This number just called me left no message why are they looking for me?? Who is it??

social service food stamp/medical calling about a missing form that was filled out to speed up the process, they leave a different call back number 805-584-4888 simi valley social worker. The 805-685-4306 is not a back back number call that number it won't go through, they are trying to help you speed up the application.

I received a call from this number. When you call it back,it's a non-working County of Ventura phone number. The call persisted until they reached me and told me my family and I have lost our eligibility for my usual and established medical insurance through the ACA. They insisted I join medicare . I told them I was uninterested and knew this was a fraudulent call. They became angry with me , warning me of very dyer consequences. I called my insurance company who verified that call was a fraudulent attempt to extort money from me. My family's insurance plan is intact, nothing has changed. I have blocked that phone number and will never speak with anyone with such claims in the future. Do not be intimidated or coerced. Important matters of insurance coverage changes will always come in the mail nit by phone call. Ignore them and relax.

I received a call from this number. I answered, “hello”. I heard someone pick up the receiver (as though it had been on speaker) and then they promptly hung up without saying a word.  I have no tickets, fines, probation, medical, or food-stamp business as is stated in other posts. I live in Ventura but that is the only association. It remains a mystery why they called.

I received a call from a person named Jasmine.  Tried to call back and message indicated that it is a non-working Ventura county number.

this number called me with my first and last name.. the call was static so i was not able to get further than that. I did try calling back and and got a VM with a recording saying it was a NON-VENTURA COUNTY WORKING #
