keep getting calls from this number,done know who it is

I got a call from this number today at 12:15 PM. I didn't answer it.

I also keep getting calls from this number. They never leave a message. Idk who it is.

805-681-4200 is Santa Barbara County office.

This is a number of santa Barbara county office, for career.
got a call, a professional lady asked info, but did not go forward with business.
seems like she is testing something or steal some thing from you.

Calls saying owe money and number 805-681-4200 is from the sb sheriff office? They dont know about it?

Someone called today and asked if it was Comfort Zone and I answered yes, then they hang up on me, I returned the call and it belongs to "The County of Santa Barbara automated telephone directory" Collect calls are not accepted???? What is this about?

Got a call and didnt and didn't answer but they left a voicemail. She left the number (805)681-4689. She said my first name in the voicemail and asked that i call her back at the number she left. Apparently her name is Reena....no answer and it didnt go to voicemail, it just kept ringing.

I received a call from them stating it was the district attorney's office. Didn't answer but got a voicemail. A person  named Stephanie thought I was some Donna woman and asked if I "specialized in child sexual abuse treatment" for "younger children". That was all. :/

I was talking on my cell phone when this number beeped-in. I let it go. No voice mail was left. Origin was Santa Barbara, CA.  Typical scam M.O.

Woman called, asked for myself. Said she was with the Santa Barbara Voter Registration Office. Indicated she they didn't have my place of birth for the voter registration.  Didn't give it out but asked how I could do this and she you can go online. I said okay. What's the website. She didn't know.  WOW, definite scam beware!!!

Got a miss call and didn't leave a message, called back and it went to County of Santa Barbara directory and after listening to the options it automatically hung up. How are we supposed to know who to contact if there was no messages indication of contacts. Not sure if this is a scam or what......?

Not a scam, but they're trying to track people down!  Got a call for "Richard" from this number.  As I am not Richard, I said you have the wrong number.  Guy said "no I don't, I'm talking to Richard."  I noped right out of the conversation and he did not call back...  If you get a call from this number and it is for you, don't blow it off as a scam though - take care of it!

They asked for Leena, had the correct number but wrong person. Homecare Network is how they identified themselves.

I got a series of call to my landline. The First 805-7687842. CID indicated "J2 Global Commu". I didn't answer. Second call came within one minute from 805-681-4200, CID was "805-6814200." I did not answer this number either, and have received calls from this number recently. 15 minutes later I get a call indicating a call from my landline number with CID indicating the registered name. I have received similar calls like this recently also.

It's like whoever is making these scam calls has capability to controi what comes up on the CID. As mentioned on the 681-4200 number, that is in fact a county number, but obviously is not the county calling, as was the 3rd call certainly not a call from my landline to itself.  More like angry scammers display of agrivation that I did not answer thier two attempts to connect.

I find an effective way to get scammers to stop calling is if you keep them online with your call as long as possible. Go along with their scam until it comes time to give them real information sought. I used to get calls daily from online pharmasudical scammers who would ask for some random customer name, then when you tell them that operson is not at your number, they would then start asking you what meds you buy followed by quoting you lower proices. Alwasy forien call centers, I'd ask them for illegal substances like qualudes, or methamphetimine and they;d try looking it up and sometimes I'd keep them online for 15 -20 minutes or more wasting as much time of their as possible. They soon quit calling me. Screw these scammers

Thank you for this information, since I have been receiving calls from this number (and many, many, many, others) for probably 3 years. In my case, it was probably obtained via the santa barbara county health department, (legitimate only in that I have used their services in the past) but is part of a larger scam/harassment from a domestic abuser. I just don't understand how these calls are done, so would not have a way to describe it to anyone, including law enforcement.

I have changed my numbers multiple times, but it hasn't helped.

Called to inform me that I overpaid child support and they have $488 .  They knew childs name and DOB and all they wanted needed was my address.
