Received an automated call that my debit card had been "dropped".  Then said to press 2 to speak with security department to reactivate.  It is a local bank actually but I do not have a debit card with them.

Received a similar automated call that my Great Lakes Credit Union debit card had been lost and will be cancelled in 24 hours (or some such). I've never had that debit card. The phone number on the caller ID, 805-777-7722, googles as the National Veterinary Association.

I got a similar call. They left a voicemail saying "debit card has been locked, to reactivate it please press 1 now and you will be transferred to our 24-hour security department."

When I called the number, an automated message identified the organization as "NVA" (although I hung up after that.)

I don't have a debit card so I figure there's no point in my calling back again.
