The Caller ID said the call was from Janice Burgett, but when I answered I heard the usual "boip" sound of the call being transferred to a telemarketer so I hung up. Called back later and the number did ring, so at least I did not get the "disconnected or no longer in service" message, which means it's a spoofed number. Still, it's a telemarketer of some sort.

Don't know anybody named Janice Burgett and don't recognize the phone # 805-876-5479. Didn't answer just checking to make sure it's some annoying unwanted call. Seems that's the case. Thank You

The caller, JANICE BURGETT ( displayed as ID on our phone . ) called us @ 13:27, I had a medical appointment.
I returned the call hiding my number 2  1/2 hour later, a man answered :  He said we called them for house painting. I asked him " Do not call again." There are 3 person ahead of me reported this number to www.800notes.above.

This dude just called - and asked for me by my first name as though he knew me. I yelled "what do u want Buster?" - and he said, I haven't heard that in a while. A total jerk!!!! Caller ID said Janice Burgett!!!

Received call from 805-876-5479 Burgett. Did not answer. Now on the black list on my Security 2 call blocker

9/18/15 9:43 PDT  Unlike previous reports, my caller ID showed something named Nati Remodeling.  I don't know who they are and won't answer cold calls from any "contractors", so even if they are a valid firm, since they left no message, OH WELL.

Everyone is missing a bigger opportunity. Schedule them to come out and then tell them you didn't schedule anything. They'll get the message.

9/30/15 9:11 PDT  Called twice, first started her pitch saying she spoke to me several years ago and when she mentioned window replacement I told her "been there, done that" and hung up on her.  She called back and left a message that she was with a different co. now and they were doing dry landscape work.  I really don't give a flaming "s+++" for cold call contractors and am annoyed that my name and number are being carried over from one company to another.  Frustrated in general right now because of computer problems, so was probably ruder than I should have been.  OH WELL!

call from BURGETT, unknown location at 3:34 p.m. Sept 30 2015.  No one on the line.  I called back and the message said leave a message with the Magic Jack customer.

ID here was Nati Remodeling as previous caller said.  I answered and hit a key hoping the tone would blow their eardrum.  Probably no such luck.  Block this new number.

Got the same telemarketer call as everyone else. I picked up by mistake (I was waiting for a friend to call me right back). Figured since I had them on the line I would waste their time. I spoke really  REALLY slow. Asked them to repeat everything they said several times. They kept pressing for me to have them come out for an estimate. I asked (really really slow) if they were licensed. They said "Yes". I said ok hold on one second. After keeping them on hold for several minutes I again asked if they were licensed. They said "Yes" again. I could tell the telemarketer was getting irritated. I said "OK, you sound honest, I have moved since we spoke last (we never spoke) so you'll have to come out to my new place" "Is that OK?" They seemed thrilled. I then gave them the address to the Sheriff department. Hopefully they get the hint.

The caller, NATI REMODELING ( displayed as ID on our phone., 08.28.2015 it used HANICE BURGETT as ID.  ),called us @ 15:37,09.30.2015. I returned the call hiding our number, a mam message:" JACK Magic customer, please leave a message.". I left a message for " do not call "  again.
According www.800notes.com, the caller has used 805-876-5479 to call people  since 08.27.2015. I'll reported to FTC & FCC.

Number called a few minutes ago.  I didn't answer, and they left no number.  Will assume it's "Natl Remodeling"  Thanks to all above.

10/07/15 13:58 PDT  Again, no message left.   3rd call from this number and still have no idea who they are or what they want, although can pretty well guess.  Will now block number and get them off my phone.

He knew me by name and claimed we had spoken in Feb and asked if I remembered him.  He asked about a remodel.  I told him to never call again and added him to my contacts as spam so I know to never answer his call again.  Why don't these losers find an honest way to make a living instead of annoying people who are at work actually earning an honest living.
