Scam likely saying that they are selling a Yamaha banshee for $1000 and was asking for eBay cards

I received an email invoice for a down payment to eBay, accepting cards only.  Call 805-960-5343 with questions or payment.  No reference on eBay anywhere.  ¡No way, José!   Glad I checked here first.

responded to email of a 2007 Fleetwood Pegacus Ultralight 210RB  $1200 . Heather  Moore"s husband passed 2 months ago she has to many memories and moved back home to  Omaha,Nebraska to a new job. Before leaving she had prearranged the deal with EBAY so her presence isn't necessary. they won't give her the money until i receive camper and test it for 5 days to  see how it is working before I pay for it. If i want the deal i need to send by email (her email is mheather527@gmail.com) full name,address,phone number.once received she will forward to EBAY and the process begins,documents will be verified  and when approved i will be contacted. and EBAY will send an envoice with transaction and payment instructions.  1. advised had 5 days  before would have pay if I kept camper. 2. EBAY sent information that I purchase 6 Ebay cards loaded with $200. each and send to them before the camper would be sent. These people need to be caught and prosecuted to the fullest.

Same here tried buying a UTV for $1600 well below value knew it was a scam but got as much info and kept dragging them along. There using I’m in the military now and got stationed somewhere else for 3 years and need to get ride of it now got an invoice from some BS eBay motors LLC? Really eBay is a Corp not a limited liability corporation I’m also a seller on eBay everything has to go through PayPal they also wanted 200 dollar eBay prepaid card huge scam I am going to spend some time reporting these BS adds hopefully it will help other people. If it sounds to good to be true 99.9% of the time it is

They didn’t even answer. I called at 7:30 pm from pa. It says the area code is California so they should have answered

I've been trying to reach eBay to ask them if they knew anything about this.  They make it impossible. You'd would think they would want to know these things. I have "documents" that are fake but have eBay all over them. That these people are using. Reach out to me if you can get them to eBay.

The same scam was on Facebook marketplace for golf carts November 2, 2020. The wording was the same except that it was a golf cart listed for sale.

I received a notice of an Order/Receipt/Invoice for a year's subscription to Norton LifeLock.  Not something I had ordered.  Email said I had 3 days to cancel.  The number to call was 805-860-4343.  Glad my suspicions were confirmed by checking here first.  Disturbingly they had both my email and physical address.  Looks like they have branched out from vehicle scams...
