Same here.  Called, I didn't answer because I did not recognize the number they were calling from, and they left no voicemail for me.

I called them back, but it just rang and rang and rang, and they did not answer.

Most likely a telemarketer who ignores the National Do Not Call Registry.

Too bad the Federal government refuses to enforce its own laws.

I assigned them a silent ringtone, so I will no longer hear them when they call me.

What I wish people would do to stop this behavior in the future is simple-- do not buy anything from people who call you on the phone.  If they never got anyone to pay them any money, they would all go out of business, and stop calling us.  I never buy anything over the phone from someone who calls me.

Caller I'D says "Navy Port Heune, CA".  A recorded voice said she was calling about my account (didn't  identify the account) and that, although there was nothing wrong with the account, she wanted to discuss lowering my interest rate.

SCAM!!!!!  Using a military phone number to perpetrate a scam is a serious felony!  I hope these people are caught and sent to prison for a very long time.

I also got a call - didn't answer, no message. I tried to call back but it was busy. I did a broad trace via internet to Oxnard, CA but didn't get a specific address. Strangely when I used my phone's GPS that afternoon, an address in Oxnard kept on popping up. Stupidly I didn't write it down and now I can't seem to access it, but it has me worried that this number was trying to hack my phone. Will report further developments if any...

Called and hung up when I answered. Called back and it is just busy. NO way to get on DO NOT CALL list from this number. No messages were left, but online reports lead to a company using a Naval line for their telemarketing purposes.

same as several above: called at lunchtime;prerecorded voice claimed to lower interest on "my account", not identified, wanted to reduce my interest rate. asked to press 1 to talk to rep, press # 2 to stop calls. I didn't press either, just hung up. Almost makes me wish for the good old days of low tech calling.
