Scammers saying they are calling about my credit card. I have no credit cards. When I questioned what credit card they were calling about he would not give me an answer. When I told him I don't have a credit card he hung up on me.

They told me that my interest rate was going to change on my credit card. Really now how would that work if I don't have a single credit card in my name!

Not sure but I think these could be scammers - they call saying they have an urgent message about my account (how do they know about my account?)  When I called the number back to ask why they are calling my cell - they hung up

The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card numbers to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!

Just got a phone call about my interest rate. I don't have any credit cards

These people make me sick they are the bottom of the barrel of scumbags, and I swear if I find these people they will regret this

Someone from 805-982-6536 apparently called my cell about five minutes ago.  After reading these posts, I am glad that I missed the call.  However, I very rarely answer the phone if I do not recognize the number.  They can take their scam and shove where the sun doesn't shine.  So tired of people who refuse to work for living.  They would rather steal from someone who works hard for their money.  They will not be taking anything from this household if I have anything to do with it.

I just got a call on my cell phone from this number! Got to the phone too late, thank goodness.
They're not supposed to call cell phones, not like crooks pay any attention to laws or regulations.

Got a call on my cell phone saying "we have important information about YOUR credit card" . As I don't have credit cards, this was obviously a telemarketing call. I hung up.

Called my cell phone around 1:30pm today. I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message.

Just got a call from this number.... I answered and pressed one to speak to a rep.  
This was what was said;

Rep: "hello account services"
Me: "what card to I have with you?"
Rep:"your visa"
Me: "I don't have a Visa card"
Rep: "your MasterCard?"
Me: "nope"
Rep: "your discover?"
Me: "no, what company are you with. I don't have any credit cards"

At this point he hung up on me......tried calling back.....busy signal.

I got a call to my cell from this number 805-982-6536. I didnt answer and they didnt leave a voice mail.

Got a call from these folks a minute ago, but didn't answer; No voicemail was left.

When trying to return the call, got a "Non-working number" message.

Called my cell phone but left no message...when returning call there was no answer...glad I read this..suspicion confirmed that it was a scammer

Got a call from this number this evening.I don't answer calls ever from numbers I don't know. After reading all comments, I will dedinitely ser this number to block in my lhone

The card service scammers   WILL   "service" our credit cards,   BUT,   when they finish "servicing" them, they will have no available credit remaining!

Received call a few minutes ago from this number.  Caller ID read Navy Port Huene.  Although I normally would not answer unknown numbers, I was expecting an out of state call and picked up the phone .  The connection was horrible and I could not understand most of what they were saying other than the words 'Credit Card.'  I immediately hung up.  

Like everyone else has noted, this call is a credit card scam.  The number appears on my caller id as a call placed from Navy Port Hueneme.  I did some research and discovered this is actually a real Navy base located at
Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division, 4363 Missile Way, Port Hueneme, CA  93043-4307
I tried contacting the numbers on the website to report that either someone at their base is committing a scam, or someone is using their phone number for their scam.  Mabe if more of us report this scam to the numbers below, the Navy will have the power to take action against these perpetrators.  Every little step we take will hopefully get the government involved to make these types of illegal actions from occurring in the future.  While most people have become accustomed to identify these scams and just hang up the phone, most older people (especially the folks who experience some dementia), fall victims of these crimes.  Please call and report them to the numbers below:
