The number 1-810-244-4253 keeps on calling my house all day. the last call was at 9pm tonight and my mom picked up the phone and the women would not tell who they were or what they want. I would like to know what bussiness they are ,because these calls are crazy.If thewy are the collection agency then they need to speak up.I live with my parents and they need thier sleep.

This number, 810-244-4253 has been calling my cell phone for about a week now.  They have been calling at least once a day, sometimes two times.  They argue with me and tell me my name is "Melissa" and ask to speak to my husband "Jason". I tell them over and over that I'm not that person and I don't know those people but they just keep arguing.  They also start asking me personal questions and get upset when I tell them its none of their business.  I received another call a few minutes ago and they hung up on me.  I just now called the 800 number listed above. But who knows what will happen now. 

They could not reach me so they called my neighbor!! I live in an apartment building and my upstairs neighbor stuck a note to my door stating "Someone's trying to reach you. They had my number and wanted me to go down and get you so they they could speak to you". Nice, huh?

wow, what an eye opener from all this i just read. this phone # has been driving us crazy. they call at all hours and never leave a message. just wish they'd stop.

I got a call about a week or so ago from this number wanting me to pay medical bills from Aug. of 2002, I informed the lady that at that point in time of my life, I was only 15 years old there fore she could not charge me for any medical bills, those were my mothers responsibility.  Then She told me they were my boyfriends bills, and because we currently live at the same address (we don't live together) they are my responsibility.  I told her he does not live with me, and he was also under 18 so it was his mothers responsibility to pay them not us.  She tried telling me it was mine and nobody else's like i'm some sort of idiot or something. Then she told me I also owed 500.00 to the bank i use to use.  I've never had a  bank account.  that account is in fact my boyfriends account.  I tried to  co-sign him a loan, at that bank, but got denied.   They call me everysingle day wanting the money he and his mother owes.

I got a call on my cell phone from this number at 10:14 AM.  I didn't answer it, and they didn't leave a message.  So I typed teh number into Google and found this site.  It's weird, because the place that the number belongs to, is called "Merchant's and Medical Debt Collection", and it's about 20 minutes from my home.  The interesting part is my ex-girlfriend works there.  So I called the 800 number, and dialed her extension.  She claims she never called me.  But I can't think of any other reason they'd call me.  When you try to call the 244-4253 number back, it just keeps ringing.

They are always on Michigan Works looking for employees to make $8-25 an hour.  Yes, they are very rude when they call.  I had the same problem, having a phone number that once belonged to the bill paying challenged.  She owed money to absolutely everyone.  Merchants Medical (who is Mermed) even started sending her mail to my house because they did an address search not for HER but for the address belonging to the PHONE NUMBER.  I ended up looking for her myself and it wasn't hard to do.  I put this info next to my phone and also added her info to my answering machine... "Hi, you've reached Holly.  If you are looking for Amy R****** then you need to call this number since she moved back in with her father and he's lived there for years.  Update your records and remove me from your files.  I don't know her but did your work for you.  Have a nice day."

Anyone calling that number was pertaining to my bills, her bill collectors and telemarketers.  All of my friends and family call my cell.

When they called me, they gave the same name -- Mary Mack actually. My husband and I thought it sounded like a made-up name, but weren't sure.

this number called my house, just to tell me that i do a great job with my obligations. i simply reply, your very welcome.    It is a great thing that these men and women provide us with.   thank you.

Let me know that my medical insurance did not pay my medical bill. I had moved and was not notified about the debt. I did not like being called by the collection agency but they were the only ones to help me get this resolved. I could not have done it without their help. My experience was very pleasant.  Thanks!

This number has been calling numerous times every day and each time we tell them they have the wrong number, the person they are looking for no longer lives here. When they called again today, I answered and when I told the representative on the other end the person they were looking for no longer lived here, she was very rude, made a sarcastic comment and hung up. I found this website after googling the number on the caller id. I called back the 800 number but they only transferred me to someone they said would remove me. What a coincidence because they transferred me to the same girl that hung up on me! I told her to remove my number and she said that she did very rudely. I told her she was acting very unprofessional by hanging up on me and she said... "like this?" and hung up again! I intend on reporting them if they call again, this is ridiculous and extremely unprofessional.

They keep calling me looking for someone that lived at my address 5 yrs ago. They don't have a phone number for the man, so they cross-referenced the last known address and matched it to my name & address. Just a few minutes ago they called again looking for the same guy. When I got mad at them for repeatedly calling me, the woman said '...will this is the address he has listed' and hung up on me.

They call but know answers when I pick up. They have been doing this for the past couple of months now.

yeah, you have to call the 800 5620273 and get them to remove your number from the list. this is a terrible company and you should let whoever you speak with know that. i hope those calls stop.

i dont know who these people are but the are calling my work.im a single parent and dont need to loose my job because they are calling my place of employment, if anyone knows who or what this is please let me know...thanks

caller called 2 times in one day and the second time then answered and told them that said person no longer works here then they asked for a human resource dept. And kept prodding at me for information, quite a lame business if you ask me...

I have been receiving numerous harassing phone calls from (810) 244-4253.  The caller was very RUDE to me and very DISRESPECTFUL to my mother.  The call several times a day and either let the phone ring or hang up.
