Received email stating order received

I got a spam e-mail from "PayPal."  Strange because I don't have nor use anything PayPal.  The e-mail is from matthewsmathe39@gmail.com.  No idea who this is, but I suspect some poor slob just got hacked.

I GOT SAME EXACT MESSAGE IN MY E IMAIL.

got a "Good One! order will be delivered soon PAYPAL with purchase date and reference number. phone number 812-487-3640 mailing address 1023 north street, sheridan , AR 72150: Email address from Thersea Hopkins: nolandeli865@gmail.com

I got the exact same email word for word this morning!

Forward all of these emails to:   spoof@paypal.com  and PayPal will investigate.

I received an email, stating that I had order something from PayPal.
Purchase date: June 10, 2021
Reference No: 848294853
Totaling $197.00 + Delivery & Handling $15.00 + Sales Tax: $5.00 = $217.00

I received the exact same email.

Received today. I have no PayPal account.

I got the same exact one today.. exactly the same amount..

Same scammer story for me!!!!

Got 2 emails...one in inbox and one in spam,  One was for PayPal and the other one no company.  Both orders were for $197.00 +shipping.  I have a PayPal account and know they do not email like this.  That email I sent to spoof@paypal and they will investigate.  The other one I just ignore.  Both phone numbers were the same for both emails.  These guys just keep coming up with more ways to scam people out of their money.

Email didn't mention PayPal, with a Purchase date of June 18, 2021, Reference No. H48204014P; Order Confirmation # for item purchased, same amounts that Shannon Whitehead stated.

I got same exact email $197 plus delivery and handling plus Sales tax. It doesn't describe what you ordered. Obvious scam.
