I just received a call from them as well. They did not have an option to be removed so I pressed 9. I spoke to someone and told them to remove my name from their list. They hung up before I could finish my sentence. I reported them and re-registered my phone number on the National Do Not Call List.

Same thing I pushed 9 and told the guy I was reporting this to the fcc and he hung up on me, he sounded black.

ME TOO.  THERE HAVE BEEN A FEW TIMES SOMEONE HAS TOLD ME "OKAY" WE WILL REMOVE YOUR NUMBER.  THIS WAS THE 8TH CALL AND ALL THE OTHER TIMES, THEY HANG UP

Received a call from this number stating to press 9 to reduce my interest rate drastically.  Waited to see if there was a number to press to remove my number but there isnt...SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Received a pre-recorded message in a woman's voice stating that was calling about my credit card. I hung up when nobody answered my "Hello, hello." The area code 813 is about halfway down mainland Florida. But I think that the prefix 000 should be invalid and makes no sense. Apparently, the calling party programmed its phone system with 000 prefix to hide the real prefix. I wonder if that's illegal. If they would have nothing to hide, why would they make up a phone number to program for caller ID?

Rec'd the same call last night (Friday 1/15/10).  I pressed 9 so I could tell them to stop calling and a man answered and asks for my card info.  When I said "What card info?  I don't even know where you are calling from.", he hung up.  I filed a complaint with the FCC.  Any other places I should report this?
