Call really coming from 908-747-4272 which was routed from 970-667-9955.

They keep calling asking for my husband. If I say he's not here and ask for a message they hang up.

I answered the call, and the caller said, "Hello (inserting my name)..." I asked who is calling. And then the caller disconnected the call. Please block!

Answered no one talked just listened and then when I said oh that’s nice call me and listen they hung up. Blocked. Normally I look up numbers and never answer but I unfortunately am expecting a call from 813

Telemarketer keeps calling and asking to verify my name and last 4 digits of my social when I asked where they were calling from they hung up. Every time I call they just say hello and hang up they call frequently and hang up for no reasong

Same thing today said my name wanted to verify last 4 SS. I refused then ask if I was hiding something. Then he wanted me to verify DOB I refused again he stated you are hiding something. I ask for company name he stated Unifin. I told him to mail something I’m not verify anything.

You need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation (by law they have to go back to the original creditor to prove you owe the debt), cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (this will be the best money that you have ever invested).  Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it.  Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter.  You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to.  Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment.  If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it.  Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front):  http://www.consumeradvocates.org/

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

Called number back on hold for awhile person answered , I asked for company name and address , asked me if i was elizabeth moran the person that had my cell number twenty years ago, i said no and they hung up

Let's nationalize the telecoms if they won't block these very annoying and sometimes even dangerous robo calls!!!! The telecoms could EASILY block these calls!!! Please email your representatives and remind them that seniors, a group that these scammers especially target, vote in very large numbers.

First call late Mar I blocked immediately after ck'g on it.  9 calls later, they're still trying...

Called and left no message.  I do not answer unknown callers.  Probably a scam or robo call.
