- midniteslayrThis seems to be a collections call from a company called Hunter/Warfield. The message doesn't let anyone know who they are, but after repeated callings from them (AND one where the caller on the other end threatened me and hung up on me), I have come to the conclusion that they don't like to pay any attention to the law.

- Mk586Deffinitly got a call at least once daily. They were asking for a Ronald but the last name wasnt audible. Pressed nine to retrieve messages and told the person that answered that theres nobody in the household with that name. He took my phone number down to make sure its out of their data base.

- fatiguedI keep getting calls ( and voicemails ) from Hunter/Warfield trying to reach a name I've never heard before. Since I just got a new landline number, it might have been the previous holder of that number. I typically don't answer unknown out-of-state calls but accidentally picked one up and when I heard the name again, asked to have the number removed from their call list, but that has not stopped them yet.

- Frustrated X 7| 3 repliesI am so sick of these people calling me about an apartment that I lived in over 5 years ago. I left the apartment at the end of my lease yet they are expecting me to pay for an additional month that I did not live there. When I confronted the caller and said that I was not going to pay she simply hung up on me ***rude***.

- yougottabekiddingmeThese people have called 112 times in the last 30 days !!! They keep asking for what sounds like a Korean name (definitely not ours !!) I can't get through to them, and they won't stop. They call from several different numbers. We've had this number for over 5 years (never had a problem before), but when we just switched phones (and brought the number), they started calling EVERY DAY, SEVERAL TIMES A DAY !!! It sounds like they're on a witch hunt. The name is nowhere online associated with our number. What do they do, just make it up as they go along???
- Annoyed and fed upive been getting call after call from this number and have ignored it for quite a while. I finally began to answer and it was also this "hunter warfield" or whatever they are. Although they have my name, they asked me to confirm the last four digits of my social. When I refused and asked them to read off the digits they had, it wasn't my number at all. They hung up. A few hours later I recieved another call from them. I tried to explain that I had no debt, and the guy started saying that I owed them money and was very rude etc. I finally got fed up and began screaming and cursing at him until he hung up shortly after. I've since blocked thier number in my phone. This is clearly a scam

- Tired of wrong number callsThis number called an it was an automated voice that will ask if you are whoever they are calling for (couldn't understand but didn't sound like us), press 1 if you are the person, press 2 if you are not, then it asks to go get the person or if it is a wrong number then press 3. I press 3 and it asks you to hold to talk to a representative. I held listening to music, to be polite and to ask them to not to call this number because it is wrong. Then the music stops and it sounds like someone finally comes on but hangs up. This company should be fined for calling wrong numbers and disturbing people.

- Wendy CI received a call from this number just now. The recorded voice asked for someone and stated the system had called yesterday. The only unknown number I had a call from yesterday was (385) 202-0988 saying UTAH where this (813) 283-4004 said FLORIDA. However, since I answered it, I went through the system as it said to - press 1 if you are not the person (I am not and I've had this number for 12 years now) and press 1 if the person can come to the phone in a minute and press 3 if it's a wrong number. As soon as I pressed 3, I heard a man's voice which I thought was odd as I should have heard a recording that my number was being removed. He asked for the person again and I said I'm not the person and not related to the person and the person isn't at my number as I indicated by pressing 3 like their system requested. He asked me who I was and I said I wasn't the person he was looking for and I had pressed 3 as the system said to and not to call again. He said he'd remove my number. Skeptical.

- How rudeI receive calls from this number several times a day. I don't normally answer numbers I don't know, but I was tired of getting calls from this number at all times of the day and night. They wanted to leave a message for someone but wouldn't say what it was regarding. When I asked if they were attempting to collect a debt, they abruptly ended the call. Seems legit, right??? HAHAHA!
- notthatgullible27 replies to Frustrated X 7Same thing here. I left the apartment at the end of the lease. Actually went in and signed the documents with the apartment complex. My ex stayed there for I don't know how many months so I don't know if they assume I will pay for him. I haven't gotten any certified mail and I haven't lived there for years. Seems like a tax refund scam. The randomly send a letter claiming I can settle for half what I supposedly owe but I have not seen any mail before this. If anyone thinks I owe them money they will send something in the mail and if it really has been that many years they will sue you and send certified mail.
- So Um. replies to Frustrated X 7What complex did you leave? We had the exact same thing happen to us. In fact, we moved into our new apartment two days early and turned the keys in.
- RobertTwo calls so far today from this number. They will not let up. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. I have been saving all the scams I've been getting lately and naming them Scam 1, Scam 2, Scam yet again, etc. We need regulations on these numbers and a way for government to block them and prosecute them!

- Krystal replies to Frustrated X 7I'm in the same boat. I get calls from them about an apartment I lived at 2 yrs ago. They said I owed $1700. I called the apartments after that and asked what all was I being charged for. They told me I didn't pay my last months rent. I told them that's impossible bc I paid on time every month for 2 yrs straight. I think it's a scam the collection company and certain apartment complexes are in cahoots together on.
- NateDon't answer just a bunch of scum bags calling, they don't know how to talk, very unprofessional business, I can't believe that big coroprate companies are giving them business to collect. There are others companies I have delt with in the past they were very nice and understanding that's why I was able to work out a payment plan and paid them off and they know how to talk to people not just come at you on the phone like these scumbags

- SophiaThey call day and night and they never leave a message. I don’t pick up if I don’t recognize the number, but I finally picked up to find out who it was. They asked for a person I don’t know, and as soon as I told that to the man, he started yelling at me. Seriously??? I asked him to remove my number from whatever list he had and just hung up on me. Next day... another call... I blocked the number.
