They keep calling but do not leave a message, they call 3, 4 sometimes 5 times a day at work number and cell number.  They never leave a message.

it's a scam.  they tell you you are on a recorded line & that they are in the process of filing criminal charges against you. Has to do with payday loan defaults.  Don't fall for it

Yes it is a Scam they have called me before under the name Sonic Cash Net. Saying that you are going to be arrested if you do not pay them like $5,000.00 and they tell everyone the same thing. They just called me agian today under a diffrent name. I filed another report with the FTC and the FBI and I am going to the police station later to make a report that they are harassing me. DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY!!!!

They are a scam alright.  They called my family members and told them they were going to be arrested because they guaranteed a loan with them for me.  Didn't happen.  No one can be held accountable for a loan that they did not sign for.  These people are rip off artists.  The worst thing you can do is talk to them and especially do not send them any money whatsoever.

Someone called a friend of mine and said I put them as a guarantor on a loan for $532.00.  I don't remember using their services during the timeframe. I called the # she provided me, but I get a recording.  What did you end up doing.  

Thank god I read the following complaints otherwise I was about to make arranges for fear of hitting my credit report.

My family and I also received calls like this from the same number! SCAM

on 10-31-08 at 1400 hours I recieved a telephone call on my answer machine by a gentlemen with a Middle Eastern descent  accent advising me that I owed money and if i did not call him back at 813-283-4343, he would pick me up and take me to jail. I called back wih a friends telephone and there was a recording advising of some legal office name, as soon as i hung up the phone and did not leave a voice mail they called me back on my friends phone(caller ID). I gave a fake name and they asked me if i had wired money already. I told them that i did and needed some answers.(Just to see what they would say)  they told me to hold and they kept passing me around to different people who sounded like the first person and hung up on me. THIS IS A SCAM THEY WANT YOU TO WIRE MONEY TO THEM DONT, YOU WILL NOT GO TO JAIL IF YOU DID NOT COMMIT A CRIME OWEN A CREDIT COMPANY MONEY IS NOT A CRIME ITS A CIVIL ISSUE, THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT A CREDIT COMPANY, LAW OFFICE, FBI, POLICE they are thiefs

I got a call today from a Jerry Barlow with an Indian accent. He was loud and demanding. He left a message. He was calling from 312-962-5282. He told me he had a file against me. I have not idea what for. He told me that I had to call his division right way and the number was 813-283-4343.

I received a call yesterday telling me I was being charged with Federal Banking regulations, collateral check fraud and theft by deception.  I would be arrest tomorrow if it was not taken care of.  The phone number was 813-283-4343.  My assoicated pulled the phone number up on the internet and confirmed it was a scam.  Don't fall for it.

I received a message on my voicemail at home a few months ago.  It was a man with a Middle Eastern accent.  I looked up the phone number and realized it was a scam so I did not call him back.  I ignored the call.  A couple of weeks ago, I received a phone call at work and the same guy threatened me. I asked what company he was from, what supposed payday loan I took out, what date and what amount.  He answered my questions, but would not give me any time to speak.  I finally hung up on him.  He called back.  I told him that I looked up his number and he is a fraud.  He said you think I am a fraud?  I said yes and he said we will see when I have my officer pick you up and arrest you.  It never happened.  He hasn't called back since.

I received a call from this company and they called multiple times. I requested and threaten to call back and talk to my supervisor. I called back and requested that all calls stop and that any communication from them be through mail. I am also reporting them to the State Attorney General Office. They also call from 312-962-5282.

yes today i recived a  called today to call 1-813-283-4343ext. 1082for steve johnson and the call was from a illinois callthat was 312-962-5282 statin i owe money on a PAYDAY loan with i got from cashnet banking and if i didnt pay i would go to jail and told me the people i had for referecne would go to jail also they r such rude people i would advise no one to send money

Can anyone tell me how the verified this company is a scam. I've had the same calls (6 times on my cell ph yesterday)several today also. From Don Morgan ext 1086. I know the threats they are communicating they can not do, so that breaks part of the Fair Debt Collection Laws. But how did you find out exactly they are scaming. I'm gathering my info & contacting an attorney that is suppose to help w/ debt collectors. Any advise would be great!

I got a call from 813-283-4343. Steve Johnson told me to either call him back or have my attorney call me back because the issue at hand was time sensative. He wished me good luck and told me his number agiain. Then he went onto say that this was final warning and if I did not call that they would send someone from Legal Affidavid Office to pick me up from work. And then Steve Johnson told me that he had the name of my sister and would be calling her (She is a producer who actually makes films and documentaries - the wrong person to call), and an attorney friend of mine who is also the wrong person to call. But he told me that he would be calling these people and getting them involved in my legal matter. And of course he said May God Bless You.....

Recieved a call from 312-962-5282 very rude on the message and that is it was urgent that I return a call to 813-283-4343 ext: 1082, glad that i came on here and reading that it is a scam i will ignore the messages.  Called me twice tiday once at 12:27 the other at 1:54 It was also a man by the name of Steve Johnson.

I just got ANOTHER call from 813-283-4343 again today on my work ph about 1:06, after I faxed them a letter to no longer contact me regarding bogus charges! If I owe a bill I will pay it directly to the company, not some scam artist like they are. They are still treating to take me to jail and sue me & my refrences. Well maybe a call to them from my attorney wanting to press harrassment charges against them will put a stop to them calling. How did everyone else make them go away! My call was for a Don MOrgan again, w/ a heavy india accent. Thanks!

I received a phone call from this number stating I was in a legal mess due to me being a reference on a friends account for a payday loan. Once I told them I was calling the cops to file harrassment charges they stopped calling. I was told by the police officer to try and lie my way around getting a name and verifiable number to contact them back. This would be the only way to stop these habeebs from calling innocent people and trying to make quick money with the scheme they have going!!!!

Do you happen to be in the 979 area code? Just asking because I wonder if they are targeting certain area codes.
