Didn't leave a name or number, so I assume its spam.

I received the call. didn't answer. Got a voicemail saying this is hunter Warfield debt collector. the lady spoke so fast that I couldn't understand what she was saying. So I called the number back and asked what company it was.

Call from this number. no message

another call from this number. no message

Yet another call from this number.  They claim they're Hunter Warfield in the message left this time.  I have no past due debts so this must be a scam.  If a call was legitimate, how would you ever know?

One would assume you would have remembered the debt.

A phone call, email or text message from a supposed debt collector is not legally sufficient evidence of debt.

The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) includes statements such as this:

* Every collector must send you a written “validation notice” telling you how much money you owe within five days after they first contact you. This notice also must include the name of the creditor to whom you owe the money, and how to proceed if you don’t think you owe the money.   ["Written" means snailmailed - US Mail ... not emailed or texted]

Therefore, if that caller wants you to pay immediately, before you get the written validation notice via snailmail, or if the caller wants payment via Green Dot, MoneyGram, Western Union, prepaid gift card or other untraceable means, then the call is definitely not legitimate.

yet again another message from this number... I wish 800notes had the legal power to punish these scammers!  If not, an agency set up catch these thieves!

There is no end of this scam.  I saved the numbers ( 2 different ones) to my phone as "Scam, do not answer".
