An Evonne Banks left a message for Tom Mooney regarding a Lori Denton.  Ms. Banks said she believes Mr. Mooney has a dirct number for Lori Denton and to call back at 813-283-4582 and use reference number 1785023. I have no idea who Loria Denton is or who Evonne Banks is.  I left a message for her to stop calling.

Who is Yvonne Banks and how can she stand to do her job and prey on young Enilsted men?

Received a call from 813-283-4582 4/08/2010 at 1956.  Person asked for some woman.  It is my cell number they called and it is unpublished. This happened a few months ago as well same number.  I will call them tomorrow.

Its collection agency. They will call family members. Evonne Banks keeps calling saying she has to make a final decision and to call her back. Ummmm.. Im on top of that. NOT!

evonne banks called me as well saying she was a debt collector her first few statements included which credit card was i going to use to resolve this debt. rule number one when someone asks for money right off the bat, sounds very suspicious to me. then on top of that i told her what to put in my notes, she didnt because she called the following week not even knowing who she was talking to she is crock of you know what. and she was rude as ever.

Yvonne Banks is a notorious bill collector! She keeps leaving messages saying it is very important to talk to me and that she needs to make a decision regarding an important matter.  She says she will make the decision regardless of whether I call her or not if I don't call her back by a specific date or time? Ever heard of Karma Yvonne Banks? Get an honorable job and leave hard working people alone!

Yvonne Banks called my house today asking for my daughters babys grandfather who had moved to Tx years ago from Columbus OH,  she was extremely rude and only wanted informaation from me.  She wouldn't give me any information I was asking for, plus she was acting like she was doingmer a favor.  Essentially, I did not give her any information, and told her if she wanted any information from me, she was going to have to get up off a little information herself,  I don't like collection agencies for one, and secondly, I flat out tell them that they have called the wrong person and if she wants any information from me, seeing as she was so one sided in her quest for infomation,  I told her goodluck in her adventures, as TX is a big state, and her inquirey will pretty much end up at a standstill.  I also explained to her if she was a little more polite, that she might be able to extract more information than just insulting the person she is calling and being extreemly rude from the get go.

This gal called me with a very imperious tone, not saying who she was with or the nature of her call.  She had left a message saying, I have a decision to make and will make it with you or without you.  For the record today is ...and the time is.....trying to sound like an attorney or something.   Since I am debt-free, I know she was not calling me about a debt, there was no reason for her to be calling me, and I too am an unlisted number.    I got a second call today, but she did not leave a message.  Sounds like scam-material to me.

To all of you who are complaining about Ms. Banks (and people like her) Pay your bills in a timely fashion and these calls will stop. No debt collector ever calls without cause!

Actually you can keep your smart [***] comment to yourself because this [***] Evon just called me too looking for my brother and neither one of us owe anyone a damn thing.  She knew my name too and I don't know how or how she even got my cell phone number.  She is just trying to get peoples information and use it to her advantage.  So before you go assuming [***], get your facts STRAIGHT...JERK!

Asked for someone that doesn't work here.  Highly suspicious, especially given the past accounts and the name in the caller ID.

I am only 13 and she called me, so shut your mouth and give these people a break. It is obvious that she is a scammer.

And most of the previous started more than 5 yrs. ago, the most recent, until yours,  1-1/2 yrs. ago.

She is still up to it.  Same number, same pitch.  She is very clever.  Just hang up.

This group.  If you call that number they only ID by this Banks woman, however she finally admitted to me that she was with  Hunter Warfield.  Google search shows Hunter Warfield as the group also.

Just because someone on the phone calling you says you owe a debt does not mean you actually owe it.

If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:

1.    Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2.     Demand a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.
3.    Do not pay  the collection agent or anyone else a  dime until the debt is validated

Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply ignore them and block their calls.

If they continue to bother you,  and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.
You have to get tuff with these people because,  being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking),  the only thing they understand.
