Auto Insurance cold calling scam - asks questions and then selling info to insurance companies

It is a insurance company, calling to try to get you into a new car insurance provider. Their system is broken, hence why when you call it cancels. When I called back they answered, and I tried to explain what was happening, but he than instantly ended the call.

I'm guessing if other companies are using the system, than it could be something else.

they called me and didn't say anything so i hung up looked up the number its an insurance co.

keeps calling and never leaves a message.  I don't know anyone in Florida.  Don't trust this at all!

They call about 5 times n one day!! I m tired,bored

Received two calls from this number - caller asked for me by name and then hung up. I have reported this number to my local police

Just hung up on me. I called back 1-813-305-7904 they said they were calling my husbands name and they were an insurance company. I told them he did not live here. This is about the 20th time they called!! Something is going on!

I'm pretty sure this is a Collection Agency.  When you call them, they answer w/ "Thank you for calling Customer Service, did we recently try to call you?"  Riiiiiiiiight.  The only sound he heard from me was KA-Lick.  Blocking the # now...

Get 2 calls a day from this number, no message, I just hit ignore, someday they will get the hint I am not interested

I've received lots of calls from  Plant City, FL. They never leave a message - just ring and hang-up. I'm too busy to deal with these low-lifes. If you can't complete a thought, don't call in the first place. I don't call back, but I have heard that some people in the prisons call to make contact and then use the contacted number to make charged calls to other locations. So if you don't call back, the crooks don't know if the number they called is good or not.

Same as everyone but I think I know why they say goodbye and hang up or in my case hang up when they get an answering machine. That is their clue that this is a working number and they then sell you info to as many others as they can. Don't know why these morons are allowed to exist and bother everyone.

I have received two calls from them today on my answering machine. The first one  at 10:05AM there was no message and again at 12:05 called again and left a message "DIE". Never had that happen before!

woman said my name as a question, like she wanted to talk to me, then hung up when I said YES    

called her back...its a sales company   selling auto insurance    the first call is to check to see if u r a live person   then they hang up and follow up later with their list of sales stuff   telemarketers    

Got a call from this number today asked for my husband when i said it wasnt his number girl said must me wrong number she sounded sick and she breathed into the phone i said the one she asked for was my husband and she hung up real quick i went and asked my husband about it ((made me think the worse)) but he had no idea what was going on and was even trying to figure out who called.

Just got another call from this number (third one today). This time I answered the call because the other 2 calls didn't leave any message. The caller identified himself as Paul from Insurance Solutions and claimed he could save me $100's. I told him if I was in need of insurance, I'm capable of getting it without being solicited and hung up.

Keep getting calls from this number but no one ever is on the other end.
