I think the "Lighting Company?" a woman by the name of Amanda keeps on calling trying to sound like they have been talking to us forever.

they are Commerical Lighting in Tampa.  They have been calling us too.  They just called 2 times in 3 minutes.  I tried to transfer them and they hang up and call again.  They get pissy when you wont give them the maintenance staff cell numbers.  Tell them your not interested and to take you off list.

They call several times a day, but don't leave a message.  It's very annoying.

She asked for maintenance managers name. I informed her that he was not here. She asked for cell # as if she already had it but could not find it. I told her I would not give it to them but that I could take a message. She became belligerent, and I told her she could speak to me or NOT speak to him those were the choices. She hung up. She had never given me her name but had a whiny voice.

Rebecca from Commercial Lighting in Florida called from this number. Ask them to not hang up, tell them to remove your number from their calling list and that you are reporting them to the FCC.

This number belongs to Commercial Lighting in Florida.  See my report on this number. It is a common ploy for telemarketers to pretend they previously had the information.  If you provide them with a name they will continue to call and get progressively nasty!  Beware!

I just got a call from some psycho named Chrissy from this company.  I hung up on her and she called right back again DEMANDING that I speak with her; trying to sell me flippin' LIGHT BULBS and offering to give me a free ice chest if I ordered something!

These people are overwhelming our receptionist with phone calls.  They ask for the phone numbers of our maintenance guys, repeatedly, and they will call 5 to 6 times in a row, if they are hung up on.

A person named Drew just called my office - he was obnoxious.  He was asking for a maintenance man - we don't have one!  We went around in circles  - I asked him what he was selling.  He said nothing.  Then he claimed that someone from my phone number had called him and he was returning the call.

This guy called me, asking me for the maintenance guy.  I am like do you know who you are calling?  He said our company name.  I said, do you know what we do?  He said "Staffing" So I said Why are calling me?  He said wants to talk to the building maintenance guy.  I said contact the building.  He said, do you lease? I hung up on him.  I can't handle sales people who are idiots.  If you have my name and #, you have my address.  Do you really think I own the building in downtown Chicago 100 S Clark suite 1908, near the gold coast?  If he was selling business cards I wouldn't give it to someone so dumb.

When they try the "I had the phone number but lost it" pitch I tell them it's a shame they were so careless and to be more careful next time and make sure they write it down.

Strangely enough, my wonderful advice doesn't go over very well...so I usually hang up right after offering it.
