Just received a call from this number, didn't answer since the only people I know in Florida are people I don't want to talk to. Expected a message but they didn't leave any, oh well. Welcome to my auto-reject list.

Didn't answer. So glad. There seems to be a rash of these. Is the Florida number being spoofed by some low-rent outfit overseas?

Missed a call from this number. Heard it ring once. Believe I've heard this is how spammers are tricking folks into calling back, which establishes a "relationship" so they can get past the solicitation loophole. I don't answer.

They called me twice and didn't leave a voicemail. The caller ID said that the number is from Plant City, Florida. I blocked the number!

Called at 2:30pm, no VM. If it's a scam like last year they're at it again

People don't call these numbers back and rather choose to try looking it up on websites such as this precicely because they don't know who it is, and that it may well be scammers, and would prefer to attempt find out before calling them. These scammers just might be counting on your call back. They likely have a computer that makes thousands or more random calls per day, and your call back verifies that they have reached a legit number, plus affords them the opportunity to attemt for more information. Hopefully we are smart enough to not provide them with such, but obviously, many are not, elsewise their scam would't work.

Called me but didn't answer due to playing a non-pausible online game.  Phone shows Plant City, FL.  Didn't call them back since this number is unfamiliar to me.

Called my cell phone. Before I could answer, they hung up.  I wonder if this is a ploy to get around the no-call list.  Since many people will call back unanswered calls, the company can say they didn't violate the no-call list because the person called them.
