I also had the same thing happen today im at work i get a text saying same stuff i call he has all my info he read it to me wen i said u called me wats my info and he knew it saying it was an eloan and 6 different fraud charges

Started as a text, ssn on hold for a loan i never got, he has my info, claimed to be Ted miller, what should i do about this guy having my info

Message stated:

This is to inform you that you are going to legally prosecuted in the Court House within a couple of days. Your SSN is put on hold by US Federal Governement. Call on 813-398-9798 and ask for Ted Miller.

I received the same thing.

1st msg - said to call Ted Miller at 813-398-9798
2nd msg - This is to inform you, that you are going to be legally prosecuted in the Court House within a couple of days.  Your SSN is put on hold by US Federal Government

Same! A Ted Miller contacted me stating I owed money for an unpaid personal loan. He eben attempted to contact my employer to make them aware of my pending case. Horrible!!

I received the message saying to contact Ted Miller.  They obviously are NOT the "brightest" in the world or ever worked in the legal field, little lone for the Gov. !

and this number called me saying that I was going to be presented in court for a legal matter and that they have my social security number I don't know these people and I think this is a scam trying to get people like me to pay them for things that we don't do its a scam its a hundred percent a scam... So you won't fall into this predicament the number is (813 398 9798)
