I receive calls from this number 4-6 timeas daily. When I answer call, I hear a couple of clicks and the phone disconnects.

They are offering "free" energy assessments for your home.  Yeah, right.

Offering "free" energy assessments and won't stop calling!!!! It's time to get rude!!!!!

That number calls over and over.  Two clicks on the line and no answer, except for one
time. They offered a government sponsored energy survey but wouldn't answer my questions about exactly who they were (name of their organization) or what they really did on the audit,  It was obvious they were phony and they just hung up on my questions. But they still keep calling and hanging up!

The same happened to me, except my caller was 727-238-9535.  They were quick to get an appointment booked and would not answer my questions, except to say they were National Technicians (whatever that means) and that they were contracted by the alternative energy companies.  I questioned what they would do in this 15 mins they were in my home, and how it is different from the electric company audit I had, and they said they were not going to tell me to make improvements or to buy anything, just how to save money with what appliances and windows I already have in place.  This sounds like a scam to me!

Immediately wanted information about my home to "qualify" for their program.  Girl on phone became agressive when asked for more information about her organization and program.  Warned her would report this number to the Federal DNC group if this group ever calls my number again.

Got the bogus Florida Energy program. Kept seeming alarmed that my bill is over $150.00 for eletric/ What planet do these bozo's come from?

I receive similar calls from 813 421-5167.. Basically get the same sales pitch (scam).  They’ll ask questions like "Is you electric bill over $150? To qualify for a $100 gift card, your bill must be $150 or more”; “What type of appliances do you have? Do you have natural gas?  blah blah”;
Anyway, I believe this is a common scam.  When searching Google about this scam I got tons of hits.  Here are some examples:

Also, daily calls, multiple times each day.  At least some of you have spoken to someone at the number! I just put the number on caller block.  Irritating call for sure!

I received 3 calls on 5/5 - at 9:11 a.m., 12:30 and 3:30 p.m. and 2 calls on 5/6 at 9:06 and 11:08 a.m., with clicks and no message except, "I am away from desk right now. Leave a message." Which I did. I said "If you want to speak to me leave me a message." They didn't.

This is harassment.

The guy I talked to claimed their company - Florida Energy Program - was funded by the State and the Federal Govt thru the Obama stimulus plan.  I asked if I could get more info online, not just about the fabulous stuff I could go to their online shopping store to cash in my $100 gift card ("It's just like Walmart", he said), but also about their actual operation.  He was not very forthcoming with info.  I said if it checked out and they were legit, I would sign up online, as I was sure I could do that.  Then I hung up and started searching and found this.

I imagine these are some poor kids trying to make some bucks.  They agree to use their cell phone and so that is the number you see. But the call is probably made by some computer program and after you answer, it connects to the kids phone. That's the clicks you hear.  Then they give the sales pitch.

Just hang up after you tell them you are reporting them to the State Attny office,  That is what I am going to do.

Tired of the calls. .. . maybe the person is paid per connect and is having fun getting a check when we answer.  A female's voice was on a finally call back and I told her to not call back again.

Call 813-421-5167; Free energy survery-- receive several calls a week; When I said "I am aware of who you are and I'm not interested" they hung up on me.  Why can't something be done with this scam?

Kept calling since mid-last week.  Would call and hang up.  Got fed up and called back - and kept calling back.  Got the google vmail and then the woman.  Told her not to call as she hung up.  Left a message that I was on the do not call registry and would be filing a complaint if she called again.

I have the same exact complaint as everyone else. They call about an Free Energy Assessment sometimes and other times they just don't say a word. I thought we were supposed to be done with al these calls because of the No Calling List.

727-697-7564 Keeps calling our house number and wanted our cell phone numbers and how many people where in the house. Got aggressive when I asked what was in it for them and claimed they are State funded. So I searched online and found this going to tell them not to call again!

Got a call from 407 802 5376 claiming to be the Florida Engery program wanting to make an appointment. Even when I said i was busy still said they would come at 7.30 pm on Wednesday. Lets see if they turn up.

This caller company 727 697 7564 calls and offers a free energy check if you bill is over $125.00 a month.  She says there are no strings attached and they are not selling anything, just getting rebates from the government for you.  That is where they get their funding for their private company.   That is Florida Energy Program.   I told her that if they were a private company that it just did not make sense that they had to have a money source.  So I refused the invite and began to check this out.  And it still doesn't make sense.
