Call many times a day. Today they called at ... 8:22am ... 11:36am ... 11:53am. It's 12:49 now. They will call probably three to five more times today. I never answer my phone. They never leave a message. The only humor to this is when it rings the speech ID voice on my phone pronounces CC LLC as "idiot."

keep receiving calls from this number--if you press the keys that it asks you too it keeps saying the same thing and can get no one to answer--the person they are calling for has not been at this number for over 10 yrs

Just got one of these calls. I never answer because they don't have the right person. These %$#@! call hoping to find the person who owes money. Too bad they can't because that individual never lived at my phone number and has no association with the number, address, or people. They don't bother to look for the person but continue to call the wrong number given to them by the person who owes money and doesn't intend to pay.

"This is Credit Control" (strange name for a person, but HEY! What do I know)?
"This call is from a debt collector" (Strange, because I HAVE no debts)
"Call me back at 877-395-3541" (Not a chance, buddy)
THEN-IT SOUNDED LIKE HE SWALLOWED HIS GUM-and hung up!

They called my work # and left no message.  They shouldn't be harassing people at work.

The FCC no longer takes complaints regarding the phone scammers who robodial your number and leave no message. Worse yet, some states such as NJ, no longer take complaints about DNC violations and the roboscum know that thus our legislators have given them a blessing to continue annoying us.  And then to make it even worse, the phone provider profits by providing service to the scammers and won’t shut them down as it would be lost income for them.  They know the robosum are out there just by monitoring the bandwidth they utilize.  And the phone provider’s even make additional money (in opening new services) by switching the robothieve’s outgoing lines so a complaint about any particular number would be meaningless once they feel it’s time to run and hide once more.  So it’s time to fight back – contact your provider to ask to make your number a toll number for incoming calls from “Out of the Area”, 800, 866 or 888 numbers, so when robocallers attack your privacy then they must pay you for your valuable time.  Contact your legislators to stop the robocallers – send them a complaint every time you get a call.  Tell them to stop the scumbags or you will elect someone who will!  And why not sue the phone providers for their inaction to pull the plug on the scum as well?  A great class action suit awaits a great attorney team on this one. The worse part of this whole mess is that the phone companies continue to profit from your life being interrupted.  I use a Panasonic KX-TG6844 phone that can block 250 numbers. The cost of $111 pays for itself if you use Verizon’s Call Intercept service (a $9.99 per month ransom plus federal and local taxes) in a year and you can drop the Verizon intercept service.

If you tell them that they better not call you at work they must comply. You can also tell them that the only way they can communicate with you is by mail. They must cease all other types of communication. I have had to do this a few times because of an enormous medical bill that was supposed to be covered but denied.
