Received generic white business card with huge font saying ‘investigations unit’. Investigator: B. Hamilton. license #A 1100056 and this phone number.

Searching the name and license number, people have reported the same experience related to another phone number. Others say it is a scam, they scare you that you’re under investigation and try to say they can make it go away if you pay the money. Others say it has something to do with car repossession. I am not under a repossession by my car lender I have confirmed. I did not call the number so I can’t confirm, but given this name and license number and an investigation business card that doesn’t say what company they are working for or what local government department they are working with, highly suspect.

Left the card on my driver's side window between midnight and 4:30 am.

Running that number to check to see if it is a valid license number reveals that it is an invalid license number format so it does not exist.
